Pros:

The first thing to be clear is that this is student accommodation, in student halls. That said, it was very clean, fresh bedding & access to the kitchen facilities in the block, take your own tea, coffee & milk though. Towels are provided and the rooms have an en-suite.
There is a shop on site and a cafe so you don’t have to go far for essentials. It’s suitably located for access to Penryn & Falmouth but unless you like a long walk then a car is a must but there is also a bus stop on site.
It’s cheap & cheerful and does the job, just don’t expect the Ritz. I would definitely use it again

Pros:

Lovely grounds and easy bus links into Falmouth and Truro. Free parking but a long way from the accomodation.
Room was OK size but there was no kettle- needed to go to the kitchen to make drinks. Kitchen is good if you want to self-cater.
Bed was not good- needed new mattress to be honest. Walls were thin- could hear person snoring in next room.

Pros:

Lovely "budget" stay - would stay again
Pros:

We knew what to expect as my daughter stayed there when she was at res so no shocks for us.

It is probably more comparable to a private room (with a private toilet/shower) in a self catering hostel with a shared kitchen.

We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it if you are looking for budget accommodation ... just don't expect any hotel luxuries. You obviously get the basics like towels & bed sheets (in case you were wondering).

It is a couple of minutes walk to the car park. Having said that, you are allowed to briefly park outside your room to drop your bags off at the beginning of your stay and when you fetch your bags at the end.

Everything else was 3-4 times the price when we were looking for accommodation so we saved that by staying here and used the saved money on other fun things :-)

‘No Frills’ is Accurate
Pros:

‘No Frills’ is definitely an apt descriptor. Happy going in knowing as a more budget end option it might not be all shiny and fancy, but it definitely feels like a tacked on “how can we make cash off these buildings out of term with minimum input” rather than a professionally organised accommodation.
No complaints about the people we spoke to as they were largely kind and tried to be helpful, but with 0 housekeeping staff at the weekend we couldn't even get an extra pillow without waiting a whole day.
Kitchen is ill-equipped for sharing, with only one tiny ‘sharp’ knife and very little cookware for 6 bedrooms worth of people. Self-catered technically, but hugely limited on what you can cook. Not even a tray for something as simple as a pizza!
Food and drink nearby is decent when available, but it’s shut so much of the time you rely on the very few takeaways around to eat.
Overall it’s definitely functional, but far from enjoyable given the cost was still considerable even as a budget offering.
If this is what is offered to students then I feel sorry for them.

Pros:

Took a long time to check in. The first room we were given the bed was not made up and no towels. Had to return to reception and be allocated another room. It was late at night and the campus is difficult to navigate when it is unfamiliar. Finally found the other room. Entry was near a waste disposal area that smelt and the room smelt of damp. The window looked out on to a very high grey wall. The room was clean but the experience was underwhelming. Whilst, this is an economy room we recently stayed in similarly priced accommodation abroad which was of superintendent quality.

Pros:

We booked a double room last minute after our camping holiday got rained off early.
We stayed for two nights, and read the information available to us about the property beforehand so we knew what to expect.
Both being ex-students ourselves who stayed in student accommodation during our studies, we thought that what was on offer was true to what we read online. The staff were lovely - check in was easy and we were given keys, a map and a description of where to go and where to park. We were allowed to drive to outside the flat and drop our stuff off before parking in a secure nearby car park on campus. It was up a hill a few hundred metres away but we didn’t mind this considering it’s a university campus.
We were reassured that the reception was opened 24 hours so if we had any issues they would be there to help.
There was a well stocked shop (with a gluten free section, great for a Coeliac like myself!), a coffee shop, a gym and a canteen. There were frequent busses heading into Falmouth and nearby towns.
The flat itself housed 7 en suite rooms and a communal kitchen area with a large table. We had access to the usual appliances as well as cupboard and fridge/freezer space.
Room was spacious with a basic double bed, bedding and linen (again remember this is student accommodation!). We also had towels.
The area was quiet, there were plenty of plug sockets, the shower was lovely and hot/good pressure.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Pros:

Difficult to find our accommodation when we arrived even having a map of the site from reception. Wi-fi was intermittent and made several journeys to reception to try to sort the problem. Staff were pleasant but ineffectual. Asked for extra pillows...they never came. Car parking was on site but quite a distance from our unit. Would not use again...too uncomfortable.

Pros:

What i can say, is that it suited our purpose of being where we needed to be for our daughters masters graduation. The rooms were clean but very basic.
Very difficult to get to sleep with some very inconsiderate people dancing and partying at 1am.

Pros:

Really good value. Great transport options. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean, shower was very good. Basic kitchen available to use . Campus is confusing to navigate with 1 way system .
Rooms were too hot , really don't need winter duvets on the bed .

Pros:

This is student accommodation, so the bed was ok, and the kitchen was clean with enough equipment to make something to eat. I wish that the doors had dampness. I did not appreciate someone who got up at 6:00 to make a cup of tea, letting the three doors they passed through bang. I was there as a student and not a tourist at the time.

Good basic accommodation. Great towels!
Pros:

Great welcome at checkin (follow signs to Glasney Lodge). Found our room had not been cleaned but quickly swapped to another. Good quality student hall of residence. Take a fan if hot weather! Didn’t find how to release the window “restrictor” until the morning we left. No through breeze in room due to fire doors in communal kitchen. Shower room small but quite adequate. Amazingly, the shower curtain was very effective, not a drop on the floor! Towels amazingly soft & fluffy - better than most hotels we have stayed in!
Beds ok but my wife found hers uncomfortable (she does have a back problem so perhaps not an issue for most) but if you like more than one pillow, take one or something to raise the first. Pizza/sandwich shop on site - nice pizzas - closed at 9pm.
Parking is distant to the rooms - relevant if you have a walking problem (permit supplied) though they allowed us to park closer with “blue badge”. Can drop luggage off first before moving to car park. If you have a small disk on letting, press knob on outside door with the disk then turn the knob to open door. Some have key instead.
Overall. Great value basic accommodation with communal kitchen & tv. Staff in 24 hr reception very helpful & friendly

I understand it is student accommodation, however the mattress could do with an upgrade. Other than that, accommodation was fine.
