Lugano, nice discovery!
Pros:

Hotel de la Paix is super well located, just a few steps from the lake in the beautiful neighborhood of Paradiso, you can walk to the center while the magnificent lake view.

I love Lugano !
Pros:

I truly enjoyed the location. Not quite in the center cut close enough.

Cons:

Großes Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, Badezimmer groß, aber schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Cons:

Ich habe in meiner Reservierung extra um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Das Zimmer war das Gegenteil von ruhig, ging auf eine Schnellstraße, mit sehr viel Verkehrslärm. Ich habe in der Reservierung um vegane Frühstücksoptionen für eine Person gebeten, auch diese Bitte wurde nicht erfüllt. Leider sehr schwaches Frühstück..

Beautiful and clean!
Pros:

The room was clean, well located, the staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and more options than I could’ve asked for. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious and convenient after a long day of exploring. Beautiful balcony view of the lake that was pleasant to wake up to and sit out on the balcony and enjoy.
