Pros:

The staff was extremely rude very under accommodating. We were stuck there during a snowstorm. There was absolutely no safety precautions taken nor plowing. I was able to ask for a shovel but They wanted a $50 deposit.

Cons:

I rented for almost 3 weeks and they were absolutely unaccommodating. The staff laughed and joked about serious situations that were concerning for multiple guests.

Where Trust and Quality Fell Short
Pros:

Beyond the dated appearance of the room, the attempted refresh only made things worse. It felt less like a renovation and more like a rushed, low-budget patch job.

Fresh paint had simply been layered over old paint, the flooring was uneven and jagged along the edges with careless cuts exposed, and the color palette somehow made the space feel darker and dingier rather than clean.

Basic cleanliness was also lacking. The shower head had visible buildup, the air vents were dusty, and there were what appeared to be moldy or fluid stains on a worn, torn chair. The curtains were outdated, stained, and clearly past their service life. These weren’t small issues that required close inspection or special reporting. They were plainly visible the moment I walked into the room.

What bothered me most was the gap between promise and reality. The website photos suggest care, quality, and attention to detail. The room I received reflected neglect.

That disconnect breaks trust, and once trust is gone, everything else matters less.

After a ten-hour drive, I didn’t have the time or energy to document problems that should have already been addressed. I had originally booked 19 days, but canceled after the first night.

I paid $135 for this room. The Hampton Inn nearby was $140. For five dollars more, the difference in cleanliness and overall quality was not simply night and day. It was like measuring miles and lightyears. Paying slightly more for a better environment was an easy decision.

Pros:

the only problem that I've ever had is smoke from the doorway leading into where it goes to my room if there was a designated smoking area away from the building that would be ideal other than that I've always had a decent time when I've visited this hotel the rates are reasonable considering other hotels are over $100 on the weekend you can get a discount or he will match your pice from another Hotel..

Cons:

smoking outside of the doorway leading to the hallway to your room needs to be away from the building maybe an area for smoking designated...🫣🥺

Hotel Hell
Pros:

The front desk lady was pleasant.

Cons:

Mold in the bathroom of 1 of the rooms (room 205) broken shower bar and no running water in another bathroom (room 211) We had no cleaning done in our rooms the entire stay, didnt empty our garbage cans, give us toilet paper, or fresh towels. Also did not pick up our used towels. Notice in room said we are expected to use our towels for 3 days before we get new ones unless we requested them. When we requested towels it took 11 hours to get them and then they sent us up and down multiple floors to try to find someone to get us some. We had 4 rooms that we paid for but actually only used 2 of them because of the horrid conditions. This hotel doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. It should actually be shut down. They were obviously covering up the smell of mold with cleaners because they were strong. The hallways had mold and water damage on the ceiling and pieces of the ceiling were falling off and there were multiple small holes in it.

Horrible!!!!!
Pros:

Nothing except the location was good. Breakfast was really bad and took some work to find hidden in the basement. Elevators didn't work and I don't think it had in a long time. Hot tub was boarded over. And after 2 full days I finely got them to put a working tv in my room.

Cons:

I had to run up and down the stairs to the desk repeatedly because the phone wouldn't call the desk. I ask 3 times before they finally looked at my tv, then they decided they would switch it out the next day.
