Good hotel
Pros:

Nice hotel. Clean and neat. Basic continental breakfast - would like to have seen some healthy options like breakfast bars or shakes - lots of grab and go options these days that are also easy for the hotel, too, to offer.

I appreciated having a hotel with pool and hot tub in the middle of north woods/ UP. It does need a little TLC, worn furniture, paint needed at hot tub. Front breakfast seating area carpet looks very stained or dirty--hoping it was not the print of the carpet -- looked muddy (?). Not alot of choice for restaurants in this area, especially late season. But Tahquamenon Falls area is beautiful.

Room clean, smelled good. Not enough working electrical plugs in room. Coffee pots empty when we went for breakfast. Nice attentive staff.

Pros:

Nice spot to stay while in the Upper Peninsula. Hotel a little outdated. Rooms are nice. Bathroom needs to be updated and cleaned. Especially the ceilings. Breakfast was really good in the morning.

Needs an update. Front desk person lowered the bar. Several people were locked out of their rooms, desk person laughed it off. Windows were filthy, screen dirty and ripped.

Ok for the money
Pros:

Good place for the money. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the service was good and loved the adult only pool from 10pm to midnight. I am giving them a 3 star rating because they have throw blankets on the bed that are to short to cover more than 2 person. Breakfast selection is also not good.
