Super comfortable place, I’d stay here again!
Pros:

The decor was great and the staff made it even better and comfortable!

Cons:

The entry was a little hard to find when I initially arrived. The main entrance is also not ADA accessible and has stairs upon entry.

A great place that I’ve gone back to multiple times.
Pros:

Fantastic location, lovely room and friendly staff.

Cons:

The parking isn’t included, and with the amount of extra effort to get to it, along with it being tight and a bit dodgy, isn’t worth the extra cost.

We have now stayed twice at the Mark Spencer and will be back!
Pros:

The rooms are clean with wonderful linens. The location is perfect, in the heart of downtown Portland. Staff is very friendly.

It felt very quiet in the king suite except when a street car goes by or something is going on on the sidewalk. Maybe a white noise machine? I wanted to turn music up loud when the police were outside at 11:30pm (not the fault of the hotel of course) but I didnt want to be a nuisance myself to other guestskI

Very comfortable bed, great bathroom, super clean, frienly staff- felt luxury despite the affordable price.

Very comfortable bed, great bathroom, super clean, friendly staff. Were happy to hold luggage for us in the morning.

Cons:

Parking isn’t great- we parked at a paid lot right next to the hotel parking and our rear window was smashed in in the one night we stayed despite having taken everything from the car. Not the hotels fault, but next time would look for safer parking as the hotels lot was also similar, uncovered on the side of the street.
