I would stay again! Great touches- kitchenette and bath robes
Pros:

I loved the location! It was close to Powell Books and train to airport. I also loved the small apartment feel. It had a kitchenette which was convenient. I really liked the bath robes as an added touch. The laundry facilities were easy to use and worked well. The rooftop was enjoyable and the cafe downstairs was great too!

Cons:

It was a little noisy with the train and traffic outside.

Spontaneous Portland Vacation ✨
Pros:

I came to Portland on a spontaneous solo trip to try some of the most top rated restaurants in the area. When I arrived I was greeted by Jada who checked me in and even took her time to give me some recommendations of places to go in the area, I was very satisfied with the atmosphere of the hotel and it was nice to feel so welcomed. I have only traveled to Portland twice and I will definitely be staying at the Mark Spencer’s Hotel again ! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Seen better days
Pros:

This hotel, like Portland, has seen better days. It has an aroma of old hotel. There is no on site parking, but you can pay $36 for the unsecured lot across the street. Our vehicle emerged unmolested at daybreak, but we weren't confident leaving it there. Personal deal-breaker was the air conditioner that did absolutely nothing, It was about 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the room all night long.
