Portland is a lovely town we visited the Rose and the Japenese gardens.
Pros:

I don’t usually write reviews but had an excellent experience at Mark Spencer in Portland. I stay in many hotels and the value I got for the price was above the ordinary. I was upgraded to a king suite so we had lots of extra room. They also give you a card for discounts to local restaurants and have happy hour from 5-6 with free wine.

Fun hotel in vibrant Portland neighborhood
Pros:

The hotel was centrally located within walking distance of what we wanted to do. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was huge!

Cons:

My only complaint is that the room we received shared a bedroom wall with the hall directly at the elevator. It was noisy until around 11pm. I expected a better location for the price that we paid.

Definitely will stay here again. Central area to walk or use public transportation.

Love the small step in shower.

We're seniors and would have felt safer if there was a handrail in the shower.

Perfect stay in heart of city!
Pros:

Location is in the center of the Pearl district in the middle of town, the property was clean, stylish, and room was large.
Staff was more than helpful and friendly.
Overall a perfect stay!

Nice room, friendly staff and good location
Pros:

zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Complimentary wine tasting at 5:00 and they really did their best to give you all the comfort needed. Parking was possible in garage (compact car) but that is really good in Portland downtown

Enjoyed the complimentary wine hour, 24 hour water and coffee station.
Pros:

Location was great. Was close to lots of shops, restaurants, and the venue we went to for a concert.
Room was clean, and the shower was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only bad thing was my room was next to the elevator so it was noisy when people got on and off the elevator.

Great location & great staff!
Pros:

Charming, classic hotel, very clean. Staff was excellent at the front desk and for additional linens. Location was perfect for a walking downtown. Very good breakfasts a short distance away. Powell's book store is always a favorite stop when visiting Portland. We would definitely stay again!

Cons:

Parking location was convenient below ground. However, maneuvering tight corners was difficult with an SUV-sized car.
