A stunning hotel in a great location
Pros:

A beautiful hotel with lots of history and character. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. A great location especially for the Aviva studios with lots of places to eat & drink all around. Highly recommend 🌟

Pros:

Really nice building, great staff and the bar was lovely

Cons:

The room was particular warm, the weather was hot but the AC didn't seem to be particularly effective.

Pros:

It was in a good location although the car park was full so we were given a discount code to park at a nearby public car park.

Cons:

The air conditioning in the room did not work. It was very uncomfortable. We rang reception thinking we were not doing something right. Someone came up and said it should start cooling in 15min but it didn’t. It was very hot.

Love the aesthetic of the building, was beautiful, clean and bed was super comfy! Bonus it had aircon in this English heat wave

Have have stayed here many times but will not use Marriott V&A again.
Pros:

Location. The building itself is old and quite quirky with interesting original features.

Cons:

Poor view considering we paid for upgrade. Noisy extractor fans outside room. Reception wouldn't change. Said they were full. Hotel was not busy. Uninspiring choices on al a cart breakfast menu (not that we were asked) the menu itself has seen better days.

Location good , but bar, food prices expensive
Pros:

Location is good.
Reception staff were very informative and helpful
Room was cleaned to a high standard daily

Cons:

Some of the bar staff were a little rude and I think a little more training is needed. And a smile from some of them would be nice. When we stayed last year the bar/restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and they have all changed now which is a shame
