Fabulous stay
Hottest day of the year and old cotton mill so kept the heat in not the hotels fault though
i only stayed for a day or two. quick work trip. i was comfortable, gym was good, no complaints.
when i was there, their entire system failed and remained down for the entirety of my stay. this made things difficult but i cannot imagine it's a regular occurrance, just an unfortunate fluke.

The overall atmosphere created by the building and staff, support... Full facilities in the room for ironing fan, kettle, tea coffee etc. pillows, we a bit difficult. Might be good to have some, memory foam ones for better neck posture, if needed by guests. But even so my sister who has back and neck soreness, did manage ok as was very happy. Small plate meals in restaurant area was a great lunchtime choice, as local eateries were pretty dear with some challenging choices. So we settled back at the Marriott. Concierge staff saved our luggage till we left Manchester which was great. Plus helped us get a taxi to Salford central station, which was good value...overall a very pleasant stay...Thanks to all....
Found the bed moved a bit away from the wall when you sat up in bed to watch the TV. Might be handy to have some little wedges ??? Or device to put in front of the wheel at the foot end of the bed. This wasn't a major issue, when you had sussed it out. Otherwise everything was very nice. Pillows note above. Obviously cost of providing some memory foam pillows might be too much. I understand this ...Thanks anyway
