Great hotel, had brunch there many times. Great location, accommodating for my dog. Love walking on the lakefront and going to the visitor center for local events
Food was great rooms clean. Lake side view great. Price for king room first floor awsome beautiful walking path to welcome center . View of sunrise
Great place to stay very friendly staff and clean they met all of our needs and would love to visit again . Would highly recommend anyone traveling through NY to go and stay
We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is a clean, comfortable hotel and good value for the money. The rooms are updated and have nice showers and bedding.
This was not a pleasant experience - hairs in the shower, brown slime on the soap dispensers, slow -draining bathroom sink, stale cigarette stench in the air, broken elevator… absolutely not worth the cost. Other family members had similar or worse experiences in their rooms. Aside from the rooms, the staff were friendly and the location great.
Great location right on Seneca Lake. Clean room, helpful staff. Great place with a dog-walk the shore line for miles, well lit at night.
This was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. Run down, dingy and in need of major repairs. Smelly and dirty. The only thing it has going for it is the location. Would not recommend.
The location on the lake is beautiful. The rooms and facility have seen a lot of wear. Elevator is out of service and the pool closed for maintenance, both apparently for a long time according to locals. One staff said we could cross street to use pool at hampton inn if we showed our room key. They said the hotels had an agreement.
Our room had pink mold on bathroom ceiling and rust in tub. There was no housekeeping until our 3rd day on premises. If we wanted towels, we had to go to front desk and get them ourselves. There was not even trash or dirty laundry pick up from rooms. I saw some people were putting dirty linens and trash out in hallways. This seems very unsanitary and likely to draw vermin. We saw trash and spill stains in the stairwell that didn’t get cleaned the whole time we were there.
I was with a tour group. The tour had paid for us to have private breakfast buffet in ball room. Brian, the staff in charge of breakfast was super nice and did a great job having plenty of good food available for us each day.
Stayed here because I had a lovely stay at the hotel in 2019. Imagine my surprise when I pulled back the shower curtain to a full tub of water. Obviously housekeeping had not fully cleaned the room. Phones did not work so I had to go down to desk and report problem. Maintenance came but took 15 minutes for tub to drain. Asked for refund- was reported to management and waiting to hear back. Also problem with sink draining and stale smell in the room- maybe from someone smoking?
This hotel could benefit from upgrades and repairs.
Also advertised hot breakfast but that was not provided- option was to have breakfast in restaurant.
Was happy to be on my way first thing in the morning.
I would stay here again only because the location is amazing. I would call it a 3 star hotel. The rooms could have been cleaner, the hallways and elevator (because 1 elevator was broke) was dirty, windows around facility were nasty, pillows smelled (went and bought one at store to use), food at restaurant was raw. Again, good location but hard pass,
Terrible property: broken elevator since August. Dingy hallway and rooms. Front staff uninterested and not available. Coffee in lobby cold.
The women who checked us in could not even give us a smile. No hello, no welcome, nothing!
very clean place and extremely friendly staff. The view was GORGEOUS!
Had 2 Elevators 1 did not work. When we got to our lakeside view room, the windows was filthy. Shower curtain was to short. All toiletries were empty and 1 had leaked all over the tub.
The hotel location is great. Right on the lake and it’s quiet. Parking is easy and walkable along the lake and into Geneva. We had breakfast at the on site restaurant and the service was wonderful. However, it seems the hotel needs to be staffed up to improve the cleanliness of the rooms and the grounds.
Very outdated rooms. Beautiful location. Outdoor chairs were dirty. Lots of bird droppings and cob webs all over.
41 Lakefront is a very nice hotel with a beautiful view. Located right on Seneca lake it's conveniently located near many vineyards. There is a wonderful restaurant right on property. I highly recommend staying here when you are in Geneva.
Good value
We would recommend washing the windows of the hotel. We were on the 5th floor and looking out at the beautiful view was marred by the bugs on the windows.
Clean but well worn. Lots of details not quite up to snuff.
