Margaritaville Beach House Key West

The Room was very nice with an excellent view of the beach. Beds were very comfortable.

The margaritaville theme is great.

Staff was super nice and attentive if needed something. Clean facilities. Beautiful property. Room was great size.

How clean it was. Pool and Reataurant very good.

Wr needed a hotel to stay at so we didnt have to drive 6+ hours back. It was a nice hotel, but expensive for what was offered. Some rooms had a balcony, ours did not.

We loved everything about our stay here. Communication is top notch and it is very easy to catch a ride downtown or to the airport. The restaurant and pool on site are fantastic as well. We can’t wait to return!

Here now with family, the resort is ok. Not terrible but for what we paid, is it definitely lacking in certain areas. The hotel is a bit run down, they do need renovations. Some of the guest rooms do not have a tub, causing water to overflow on bathroom floor. Lighting is not the best in the rooms. The hallway floors are very worn; you step down and it feels like you’re sinking in. The pool is small, not what I’m used to in a resort. But the people are nice, our servers have been good. Word of caution: Right now the Atlantic is facing an issue with Sargasso. The beach in front of the resort is inundated with that nasty seaweed that smells up the entire resort. Especially when walking to rooms…the smell is absolutely disgusting - like rotten eggs, and poop. This is not the resorts fault, that is beyond their control. We are making the best of it. Would I stay here again; no. There are better options at Key West.

Great communication from staff leading up to arrival and during our stay. First let down was the main elevator in the lobby was broken our entire 4 day stay so we had to walk around to the back up elevator on the other end of the building, next came the broken shuttle service bus for downtown. The hotel graciously allowed us to use Lyft and reimbursed us so it int a complaint but just a note. They hire good hospitable people, Levan at the main bar made exquisite drinks and was a perfect host. Rooms are as expected, clean and well supplied, bed was a little worn but not terrible, view from our room was the parking lot, although it was not advertised to have anything but a resort view. Vibe at the resort was typical, nothing special, no live music, but it is low season even if the price of rooms and resorts fees are not reflective and I dont feel it was worth the price. One day the bus driver sat comfortably in air-conditioning for about 10 minutes in front of a bunch of people waiting to board at the resort until exactly 4pm. Food was pretty good but once again prices were 5 stars so expectations were higher than what we got. Pool was pretty busy because of conditions of the beaches with dead grass washing up, moderate number of kids but pretty well behaved. A 10-15 minute drive from downtown where all the action is. Will definitely look for better value next time.

Theresa at the front desk was super rude and I noticed her stealing from the food stand. Not only that, the safety bar in my room in shower rusted off and broke. Not much compassion from the front desk either. Roaches and sugar ants EVERYWHERE in the room. The housekeeping and pest control departments aren't very effective. Jimmy Buffet is truly turning in his grave after this debacle.

Group of friends and my wife and myself planned a birthday trip to Key West, and for the second time the group chose Margaritaville based on the previous experience being exceptional! I’m happy to report we were not disappointed! From the location to the food and definitely the staff we enjoyed an excellent experience! Big shout goes out to the staff who on multiple occasions went out of their way to ensure we lacked nothing ! A special thanks goes to my main man Levani J. who took on the position as the group’s personal concierge! The groups cups were never empty and we had access to the best cabana the hotel had to offer! If you get the chance to enjoy his services please tell him that I said thanks and you read my review! Here’s a good bit of advice, do not leave any food or sweet drinks in your room! The tiny red ants are attacking everything left behind with the weather and heat driving them to drink! The hotel acts quickly with any issues, but help
