Located near many restaurants, bars, and shops downtown
Pros:

I parked in the city garage a block or so away for $15 a night instead of the much more expensive hotel valet

I found myself using the lobby Wi-Fi; never able to get a connection in my room

Property is in excellent condition clean and in good repair

An interesting former department store converted into a hotel, lots of space in my room; quite a few steps from the bed to the bathroom

So much character!
Pros:

Location was perfect, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was huge and we loved how much character the hotel has. Would definitely stay there again!

Excellent Hotel for the money

Excellent hotel in a renovated department store in downtown Asheville. We stayed in a beautiful suite! Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a memorable stay.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Asheville
Pros:

This is a great location right in the heart of great shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the room was nicely appointed. Everything was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Not much in amenities and no room cleaning just towel refresh. Elements of the room were leas than pristine condition and bathroom didn’t have locks

Family Reunion
Pros:

The location was great. Walkable to restaurants, trolley pickup and art district. The staff was outstanding!! We had a very large group & the staff always had a smile on their face.
