Not worth $250 for one night
Pros:

Location for our needs good

Cons:

The first room had blood on the bed, hair from shaving in the sink and the soap was empty on the wall.
The second room we were placed in the door swipe was broken and the mirrors were dirty. The fifth floor smelt of cigarette smoke.

Comfortable but inconvenient
Pros:

Amenities were clean and the room was nearby to groceries and food outlets

Cons:

Distinct lack of parking on site - had to park in the (public, outdoor) shopping centre car park and cross the 4-lane divided road in the rain to get to it.

Enjoyable weekend, lots to do in Newcastle.
Pros:

Great location, the walkability was excellent. It was close to the tram to the beach, close to restaurants, close to shopping centre.
The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfy, pillows good.
It had both openable windows and air-con.
There was plenty to choose from at the buffet breakfast.

It was “just” a bed for the night. Nothing more than that.
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

No on-site parking. We were told to park across the road in the shopping centre car park, however, we could see plenty of empty car parking spaces available on-site. The concierge was dismissive when questioned about parking availability.
The breakfast was average.

Very disappointing and disgusting.

Cons:

The infestation of cockroaches in the room and the cleanliness was disgusting. Forced to get a new room in the middle of the night and move my 2 young sleeping children from floor 2 to floor 6 at 1.30am. Night before my daughter’s birthday and I had the whole room decorated.
