Lovely room with the odd shortcoming.
Pros:

Great restaurant with friendly staff.

Cons:

Hot water took forever to reach my sink on the fourth floor.
Room was too cool. I was unable to adjust that.

View was excellent but because of the noise issue we couldn’t enjoy our stay peacefully

The view was beautiful and room was very aesthetic for sure.

Cons:

Felt like The wall are not so soundproof that we could hear an infant crying all the time. In the evening till late night then again in the early morning

Great river view. Clean attractive room. Comfortable bed and bedding. Microwave.

Cons:

They disable the air conditioning in the rooms for the fall and winter. We only had fan option, no cooling. Hotel gave us an electric fan, but was still not cool enough for sleeping. This is not an acceptable practice for a hotel in my opinion.

Cons:

The hot tub did not work properly. The bathroom was cramped for space & there were no hooks to hang anything.

Pros:

Great location, lovely view of the river and College Bridge from my room . Easy to walk along the river into town
Safe parking
Room clean , staff friendly
Restaurant excellent and downstairs.. so easy to access with lovely staff

Cons:

Room bit cool , unable to increase room temp other than turning off A/C
I was offered a heater though
Unfortunately the gym was closed due to “ upgrade “ .. looked absolutely clear and modern .. no works being carried out . Had been one of the additional reasons had booked , alongside the pool

Booking.com did not represent this hotel correctly.
Cons:

The description on booking.com described a pool and sauna. I booked the hotel for the sauna and was planning an evening around it. When I arrived I was told there has not been a sauna at the hotel for 20 or more years. I'd like my money back please.
