Das Hotel liegt nahverkehrstechnisch günstig zwischen den MRT Stationen Havelock (max. 10 Minuten Fußweg) und Chinatown (ca. 15 Minuten). Von dort sind alle sehenswerten Stadtviertel in weniger als einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Einkaufen und einkehren kann man am günstigsten beim Peoples Park kurz vor Chinatown. Das Hotel selbst ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und freundlich. Noch besseren Service erhalten Gäste des Executive Club mit Lounge, wo man sogar auf einer Terrasse sitzen kann.
Der Frühstücksraum im 2. Stock ist zu klein. Auf dem begrünten, kleinen Balkon am Zimmer gibt es leider keine Sitzgelegenheit.

Lindy, Melinda, Hao Gwang, Gary, Hao Gwang and team of Copthrone King are such lovely ppl. United team of handling hospitality. Know Melinda for ages (love you lots my dear), love the chinese restaurant Lindy introduced, ate there, delish, newly renovated rooms, accessibility, buffet and as well as the reception lounge area. Feels like home, very homely feeling when you stay there. Love the oriental asian vibes here
no mineral water provided and no room service after 9pm. shower head was barely having any water flow. was expecting better from copthorne king hotel.
A dated but generally clean hotel. What ruined it for me was the front-desk staff who seemed very displeased at seeing us arrive to check-in, and even gave me a lecture on not having all our family members' physical IDs present. Might have caught front-desk on a bad day.
I highly discourage anyone from paying for lounge access - small, 4 food choices, unattended - unless you're just focused on the wine and beer.
There was consistent knocking sounds from the ceiling through the night (unsure what it was caused by), so we hardly had a good sleep.
Will we consider this for a staycation again? See title.
I'd recommend their sister hotel Grand Copthorne Waterfront instead in a heartbeat.
Location
I stayed at your hotel with two children, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room had only two small beds, and when I requested an extra blanket, none was provided. This left one child needing to sleep on the couch without proper bedding.
Additionally, when I checked in around 7 p.m., the staff was very unprofessional and spoke in a rude manner when asking for passports. Typically, hotel reception staff are polite and welcoming, so this behavior was surprising and upsetting. We had a long hours flight from London, i just want to pass when staff may ask me , that's all. I am not even expecting so professional and polite but just normal speaking will do.
When I booked, I clearly indicated one adult and two children. My expectation was that the room would be prepared with sufficient bedding for all guests. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve both your service and hospitality standards.
I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore for their outstanding service. After I accidentally left behind one of my belongings, the staff handled the situation with remarkable care and efficiency.

Reja, the Assistant Security Manager, took immediate action to locate the item, and his professionalism gave me complete peace of mind. I also appreciate the Shift Manager, who coordinated everything smoothly behind the scenes. Because of this experience, I will not only stay here again, but I will also highly recommend Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore to everyone looking for warm, reliable, and outstanding service.
