The room category I booked - which was the only reason I booked at this hotel in the first place - was not available when I arrived and had been given away. It is unacceptable to advertise rooms you don’t actually have available or to overbook the hotel and out the problem onto the paying guest.
Doesn’t honor reservations and no solutions at all from the staff. Managers also unresponsive. It’s not acceptable.
I had a very pleasant stay at the Westin Waltham. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, and the overall staff was friendly and professional throughout my visit.
Neville, the bartender, especially stood out. He was welcoming, attentive, and created a relaxed atmosphere even when the bar was busy. His professionalism and friendliness made a great impression.
Great staff, solid facilities, and excellent service overall — I would definitely stay here again.
Location
Major dance completion at the hotel, kids running and screaming all over the place. Up and down the hall in the middle of the night. Lobby very dirty. Our lake view room was very out dated. This hotel needs a deep cleaning in the rooms.

Everything was good
Nothing better than competitive hotels.
AC very loud, fridge as well. Floor/carpet and interieur seems to be 80‘s.
Personal unflexible, but friendly.
Stayed here for a brief trip for work and found it to be a very nice hotel for that. The location is near enough food and restaurants and even a grocery store if you wanted a bit more self-service. The room was comfortable and the sleep quality was pretty good. I found the bathroom to be a bit dated but other than that the room was good for a business stay. I had a small fridge for a few small things. The parking garage was nice to have right there and made it easy to come and go.

Heavenly bed!!! Spacious, location
Nothing wrong
For a Westin, this hotel really leaves much to be desired. There are a few good things: the beds are very comfy (though they are doubles, not queens). The buffet breakfast was like a typical hotel buffet that you’d find most places (bacon, sausage, French toast, eggs, toast, oatmeal + toppings), but a bit elevated. The fresh fruit was really nice, and the staff were attentive and friendly. However, the rooms are cramped and pretty old. The bathroom has definite signs of many, many years of poor ventilation (rusty door hinges and sprinkler heads, mildew in the shower grout), and there is a water stain in the ceiling of the bedroom as well. Maintenance is lacking as well: when we first arrived in our room after a long day of travel, the deadbolt didn’t work. The front desk said that they’d have an engineer take a look, but neglected to tell me that it would be the next day. So after waiting a long time and having no one show up, I called again and they were able to find someone to come and fix it so that I could finally go to bed feeling secure. The next day, the toilet lever detached from the tank mechanism. I tried to just put it together again myself, but it kept detaching, so I asked the front desk to send someone to fix it while I was out. 6 hours later I was back and it still wasn’t fixed. Also, there’s no moisturizing cream, and the pumps for shampoo, etc in the shower are mounted way too high for this 5’1” person!
From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with genuine hospitality and professionalism. The meeting room we rented was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Well prepared, elegant, and comfortable. It was a pleasure working with the Westin team and we truly appreciate how smoothly everything was handled. I would highly recommend this space for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-run venue.
Location and pricing
The heating wasn’t working in the property. Overall the hallways were cold the breakfast area was cold the staff in the restaurant were a little miserable about it understandably but the reception seemed to think nothing of it. We did find out at check out that they were having problems with the HVAC systems.
