Klasse für einen Kurzaufenthalt!
Pros:

Tolles Hotel im historischen Gebäude in der beschaulichen Fachwerkstadt Wanfried. Parkplätze direkt vorm Hotel, kostenfrei! Gutes, klassisches Frühstück mit frischen Eierspeisen nach Wunsch.

Cons:

Die Matratzen des Doppelbetts waren für uns zu weich - aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmacksache.

Pros:

Tolles, altes Gebäude, sehr schön renoviert. Geräumiges Zimmer und großes Bad. Gutes Frühstück, kostenloses Parken direkt vor dem Hotel.

Das Zimmer war TOP Modern und Klasse.

Cons:

Ich mich tierisch beeilt, damit TROTTEL bis um 18.00 da war um an der Rezeption einzuchecken. Bin Allein 5mal vorbeigefahren weil ALKES DUSTER u überhaupt nicht zu erkennen war das es ein Hotel ist. Wurde dann telefonisch mit SCHLÜSSEL TRESOR und Bach weiterem warten von SEHR Freundlicher Dane doch noch eingecheckt Bis ich im Zimmer war waren es gut 50min... u das nach 10std. Autofahrt .

Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt, das Zimmer war kalt und nicht vorgeheizt obwohl an diesem Tag Minustemperaturen herrschten.

Hotel built in 1690 with Modern Conveniences and offers Value for Money
Pros:

I felt like an honored guest at this hotel situated near the Franziskaner Kloster which was our main reason for going to the Thuringia/Hesse area. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with a very well appointed large room with a comfortable bed, fresh sheets and towels, clean and spacious shower room and study/writing area, and an in-house restaurant that serves really good food and wine. The breakfast buffet was superb, with Tamara taking care that guests are happy with their meals. The Zum Schwan Hotel building was built in 1690. It is near a bus stop and a grocery store which is very convenient. The area is quiet and tres jolie!

Cons:

Could use a bidet but not a deal breaker. An optional shuttle to the nearest train station would be nice since taxi services are not regular in the area.
