Memorable Stay in Budapest at The Marriott Budapest

My stay at the Marriott Budapest was truly delightful from start to finish.

One of the highlights was the DNB Restaurant, which offered a wonderful variety of food choices. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the dishes were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. There was always something exciting on the menu, making every meal memorable.
The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally nice and helpful. From check-in to dining to housekeeping, everyone carried a warm, welcoming attitude that made the stay feel even more comfortable. They were attentive without being intrusive and always ready to assist with a smile.
The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. It was clear that cleanliness is a priority at the hotel, which added to the sense of comfort and relaxation. And I have to mention the pillow—it was incredibly comfortable! After long days of exploring the city, sinking into that soft, supportive pillow made for perfect restful nights.

Overall, the Marriott Budapest delivered a wonderful experience—great food, excellent service, clean and cozy rooms, and truly comfortable comfort touches. I would gladly stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Cons:

The room did not have heating when we arrived. They did send a handyman relatively quickly to resolve mechanical issues with the heating system, but for five star hotel you would expect they check the room prior arrival of the guests. I had to go out for business dinner while my wife with small kid had to deal with the hotel's handyman. They could have offered her complimentary dinner during the repair time to mitigate inconvenience, which regretfully they did not.

Lovely experience.
Pros:

The location was great. The atmosphere of the hotel was very calm and peaceful. Our room was clean, comfy, right temperature and above all spectacular view. Great value. The staff was very professional.

Marriott is always a good choice
Pros:

Great location, walking distance to the city centre, reception staff are friendly, hotel is absolutely spotless. Our room was on the 7 th floor, view was amazing, room was perfectly clean and presented as a Marriott high standard. The bed very comfortable , we had a great sleep. Welcome card was placed by the room attendant, her name was Elizabeth. She did a great job, thank you.

Best view in Pest!
Pros:

I had the best view from my room. I could see the Buda Castle, and could see the Buda Castle light show right from my window (felt like a billionaire watching F1 race from their yacht in Monaco)

The location is walkable to city center, extremely safe (I travelled solo as a woman)

The food was good, breakfast was quite the spread, and I was also offered a late check out after which they offered me to stay in the lounge (as I am Bonvoy member) until the time to my train.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage und sehr hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Personal
Pros:

Das Zimmer bietet einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Donau und eine Brücke. Die Lage ist ideal. Man ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum und man hat alles ringsherum was man sich nur wünschen kann. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Der Zimmertresor ist im Nachtkästchen zwischen den beiden Betten untergebracht. Man kann die Schublade nicht wirklich nutzen, um seine Sachen dort hineinlegen. Sehr ungeschickt gemacht. Normalerweise ist der Tresor im Schrankbereich installiert.
