Pros:

The room was nice with a fantastic view but this was the only positive thing we have to say about this hotel.

Cons:

The king size bed was very comfortable but sleep difficult. We were on the 7th Floor but there was thumping doof doof music until late at night. On our last night the noise from nearby drunks (possible from a moored party boat) was horrendous until after 11pm.
Back to the room… no coffee maker, stale Nescafé sachets and no milk or creamers.
Empty minibar fridge, no turn down service.
On our last morning, we decided to just have coffee in the lobby of the hotel after going to a great little local cafe for breakfast on the previous two mornings.
We were charged $22 for two coffees in the Hotel lobby!!!!
Do NOT have coffees at this hotel.

Great City Centre Hotel
Pros:

Great location for exploring Budapest on foot. Fantastic view of the river. Clean. The best buffet breakfast we have ever experienced. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Bar prices very expensive. We experienced a little arrogance and straight faces at the reception/concierge desks but the senior receptionist was a pleasure to deal with.
