Hotel jest w porządku i w dobrej lokalizacji – pod tym względem mogę go polecić. Niestety, trzeba bardzo uważać na personel, który stara się „wycisnąć” z klientów jak najwięcej.
Przy zameldowaniu pobierana jest kaucja z karty, z zapewnieniem, że zostanie ona zwrócona przy wymeldowaniu. W praktyce jednak, później, na podstawie danych karty, naliczane są dodatkowe, zawyżone opłaty. W moim przypadku:
Parking miał kosztować 30 euro za noc (3 x 30 euro = 90 euro),
hotel 615 euro,
łącznie 705 euro.
Zamiast tego pobrano:
75 euro gotówką,
670 euro kartą,
łącznie 745 euro, czyli o 40 euro więcej niż powinno być. Po zgłoszeniu sprawy otrzymałem odpowiedź, że opłaty za parking i nocleg zostały naliczone inaczej – po fakcie i wbrew wcześniejszym ustaleniom.

Exceeding Expectations at the Budapest Marriott
Pros:

My stay at Budapest Marriott Hotel was truly relaxing amd memorable. The staff were very accommodating and made me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. The breakfast was, for me, one of the best in terms of quality, everything was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The room was quite spacious for a standard, which added to the comfort. The highlight was definitely the view.. I had an incredible view of the famous iconic bridge, which made the experience even more memorable!

Solid Marriott
Pros:

Had a pretty good stay here in January. Overall I like Marriott properties and admittedly I'm a bit of a loyalist, but I found this hotel on par with Marriotts all over the world. The bathroom was really small but the views of the Danube and Buda Castle were excellent. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast each day and lunch one day. It was solid. The outside architecture of the building is a little brutal but the interiors were fine.

The location and the view of the hotel is amazing, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is good.

Cons:

The hotel is not live up to 5 star standards, the room was not prepared, minibar empty, no coffee machine, the wellness is very small, the gym is very wore down, in bad condition.

Pros:

Super friendly service at this great hotel. We’ve been so impressed by the staff here. The location can’t be bettered, central and directly onto the river. We were celebrating a birthday and were delighted by an upgrade to a corner suite and Herlina, Zsuzsi, Julian, Emere and all in the super M club went above and beyond, surprising us with wine, cake and bedtime goodies. The evening service in the club is one of the best we’ve found. ( We are Platinum Elite and stay in Marriotts all over the world )

Breakfast is excellent with huge choice, service is friendly and efficient.

Highly recommended.
