My favorite hotel to stay at in Newport because of its location.

Cons:

This my be a booking.com problem. When I booked, the site says parking is included but the hotel wanted to collect $35 per day for parking on my check out.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the staff was very accommodating.

The property is located in a perfect spot, walking to downtown and other areas very close and simple.

Great location, poor facilities
Pros:

The fact it is right by Bowen’s Wharf, Thames street and has. Free parking for hotel guest made exploring easy. Plus being by the marine was a great experience to wake up to

Cons:

The hotel itself was outdated. The shower had tissue in the shower upon arrival, bookings were cancelled outside of my knowledge moving us to a room we didn’t originally want. Bed sheets were stained as well

So run down. Our shower had two massive bubbles from the bathroom above us. They came to fix it and made it worse. No fault to the engineer. It’s the property management and owner that should be completely ashamed!!!!!! We stayed in May as well and had similar issue with under the tub when you stood on it you could feel flooding under the floor. Repulsive. Yet we still decided to give it another chance.

Loved the location. Loved the view. The cost was higher than the desire to fix up the place.
Pros:

The location was beautiful and convenient

Cons:

Run down for the cost. Simple things could have been done to spruce things up. Seemed like nothing was done to prepare for the summer season.
