Girls 40th Birthday Trip
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location, and had a wonderful outdoor area on the water. My friends and I were able to enjoy sitting by the fire pit and walking out on the docks of the marina to enjoy our coffee. The indoor pool was warm and inviting. We had breakfast at Salt and the wait staff was excellent! I hope to go back.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the perfect blend of coastal charm and refined comfort.

The location couldn’t have been better—just steps away from the waterfront, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the vibrant energy of the wharf. Morning walks along the harbor and sunset views over the water quickly became highlights of my stay.

The hotel itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. My room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with cozy touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I have in months.

What truly set this place apart, though, was the staff. Every interaction was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They went out of their way to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect, offering great recommendations and always greeting me with a smile.

Whether you’re visiting Newport for a romantic getaway, a relaxing escape, or just to explore the area, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

Had a wonderful time!
Pros:

The front staff was very welcoming and helpful especially when renting out the bicycles which was free and such a fun experience. The room was comfortable and the harbor view was magical.

Cons:

I could hear the people talking from next room pretty loudly and the window in our room didn’t open.

Waterfront location. Close to shops, restaurants etc.

Cons:

We were told at check in that the restaurant would be closed for dinner due to low occupancy; but it would be open for breakfast. This was not the case. It was also closed for breakfast. The least they could have done was provide coffee and hot water carafes for tea and coffee drinkers.

1970's Motel
Pros:

The staff was great and the location is prime, but the hotel is in serious need of a major renovation. It looks like a motel from the 1970's and you definitely don't want to be in a room near the street - there is virtually no sound proofing. Thank god the HVAC unit in the room was so loud. It acted like a white noise machine.

Completely Disappointed
Pros:

The rooms need a deep cleaning. The decor extremely outdated. Too noisy as the walls are thin. Parking to limited for what you pay. The shower head looked like it had mold. Shower curtain covered half the tub only. The restaurant for breakfast had pancakes that tasted like microwave pancakes

Great hotel, great value!
Pros:

Excellent stay at perfect hotel. Location is fantastic to walk to everything in downtown Newport! We had a Marina view room and was literally on the marina.

Pros:

Great staff, very clean rooms (always), great location, reasonable pricing. There's plenty of convenient parking also.
