Our check-in was handled by the GM, Megan Salisbury. She was helpful, giving us suggestions about the Westport neighborhood. Our room was clean and comfortable. And it was quiet, with a view outside. The morning crew in the restaurant was friendly and the food was good! Check out daily specials. We will be returning.
Great staff
Very nice hotel in Kansas City. Staff is very helpful and friendly- they are very knowledgeable of the area. There was plenty of parking for me and it was well lit. I really appreciated that there was also a security guard patrolling the parking lot. My room was everything I have come to expect from a Hilton property. Clean comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and a great nights rest. Thank you Hotel Westport Staff for having me!
We searched for a hotel that was pet friendly. When we booked it we were not asked if we were bringing pets. We arrived and checked in. When we left the hotel room 20 minutes later I was stopped by the front desk attendant and told I had to sign a form and pay an additional 75 dollars for a pet fee, after we checked in and took out belongings to the room. This information was not disclosed at booking and the fee was half the hotel cost again (we only stayed one night) We never would have selected this hotel had we known, and when I responded to the text the hotel sent with these concerns I did not receive a response.
The overnight feomt desk woman was great! She was very friendly and chatty. The bed was very comfortable, in fact so comfortable that we overslept. Unfortunately, we were not granted an extension or any leeway for checkout time as it takes me longer to get around with a broken foot. Doorfash was able to deliver without any issue at 2:30am (we had returned from a concert).
The floor was dirty, there were band aids on the smoke detector, we had to pay for parking, which was not in the original description when we are booked the room. I didn't plan to break my foot prior to but it was not accessible at all. There are no doors outside of a single door that open.So I don't know how you would get a chair in there, my knee scooter was difficult to maneuver in the narrow lobby. Theres a curb (6 inches min) you have to get get your luggage cart past to use, the hallways and elevators were not air conditioned. I hit my bad foot on the metal bed frame that was exposed but not easily spotted.
Great location but rooms are dark and there are maintenance problems. Service is top notch. Breakfast not included but there is an on site restaurant. Convenient free parking.
I recently stayed for one night with my spouse. The room was clean, and also uniquely and pleasantly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the AC powerful.
The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful.

I can’t say enough positive things about this Hilton property! My stay was OUTSTANDING! Megan Salisbury, the general manager, couldn’t have been any more accommodating for my 32 night stay. I was immediately treated like family. Davi, Bailey, Jessica, Julie, Nicole, Tess, Janelle, Andrea should all be commended for their high level of service while I was there. If you want a place close to Westport, then look no further than Hilton Westport. I will be back!
