I stayed at this hotel with my family last week. I and my family really like the room, it was clean, cozy, had a comforting fragrance. The breakfast was great. I will definitely stay there again.
Handicapp parking very close to room. Wheelchair acessible.Room had spot for wheelchair. Grab bars in bathroom. Toilet could have been higher.Shower tub combo made for difficulty getting in it.Roll in shower would be better. Pleasantly painted clean room. Free breakfast offering was light. Toast, honey buns, cereal coffee. Staff friendly.Better than Red Roof Inn.
The guy at the front desk didn’t have any idea what would be fun to do on an overnight stay. The room was great though. Clean, everything in order.
Awesome great stay would stay there again. Much better than out day a few years ago. Check in was more than we expected. Our luggage was taken to our room for us. Never had that happen at any hotel that we have stayed at.
Spent 45 minutes arguing at check-in and multiple calls because TripAdvisor took my money but failed to pay the hotel. Since Days Inn said they could see I'd paid, I told them they needed to resolve the issue with TripAdvisor, especially when they said "this happens sometimes." Instead, I was the one that had to fight to get it fixed....and I made sure all parties knew what I thought of their lack of customer service (I was more than ready to relax after 11 hours driving!).
Days Inn had the last laugh with a passive-aggressive phone call to the room at 5am to say there was a noise complaint...we had been sound asleep for six hours!
The room was clean and serviced every day (3 night stay). A reasonable breakfast selection available. The parking was good and the location ideal for visiting Gracelands. Also a bus stop right outside if required to go downtown.
I stayed here nine years ago mainly because it is so close to Gracelands. I booked it again for myself and four friends for the same reason. When I checked the website, I could see it had been refurbished. I found the room to be clean, and it benefitted from new beds, bedding, floor covering, and shower curtains. However, the room smelt damp, and the air conditioning was noisy. The pool needed cleaning, and there were tiles missing around the edge. The housekeeper was very helpful, but the staff on reception would benefit from training in people skills. The breakfast available was improved from my last visit. Elvis songs were played in the communal areas nine years ago, but not on this visit. My friend said she wouldn't stay here again. It is very frustrating that the hotel can not be contacted direct.
Although I’m told the rooms have been updated over the years I was still very disappointed with the over all the experience . The room stank and the anir conditioning unit extremely loud . There are tiles missing in lots of areas inside the pool , the area around it was dingy and not attended by any staff at any time for tidying . The receptionist was extremely blunt and unhelpful and we really felt we were a hindrance and interrupting her quiet time!. The location is perfect for visiting Graceland but it’s extremely run down and unwelcoming . With a very bad crime rate ( google it) . We went to collect domino’s early evening and were faced with extremely rude staff , that were blowing vape fumes whilst cooking , with hoods up over caps and literally only managed a nod in response to us making our order and then thanking them for it . I’m extremely surprised by Memphis and the area directly opposite Graceland . It’s like the king has been dumped , which is so so sad . I would never stay at the days inn again .
We most definitely enjoyed our Elvis Week honeymoon experience here! My first Elvis Week. My husband's 7th. He told me it was his best ever experience by far. A good bit of it is due in part to staying here in walking distance to so much!
We had to change rooms 3 times! First room had dirty water in bathtub, the second room the bed was broken, finally the third room was ok! The breakfast was horrible! The pool was in bad shape needs repairs!
This hotel has improved in the last 2 years and is a pleasure to stay there.Staff are vary friendly and a special mention to Sai.I will definately stay there again and would recommend it tp anyone who wants a reasonably priced place to stay near Graceland.Good choice of foods for breakfast and niocely decorated rooms.I've been twice this year and no complainyts.
Check in process was a major disaster. Had pre requested 1st floor due to mother with walker and knee replacement. Was issued a 2nd floor room. Then issued a room on basement level in back of hotel, isolated, dirty area. Creepy! My mom couldn't of even began to walk from back there. Finally after a 3rd try we got a 1st floor room. I realize everyone wants the 1st floor but think of your older, handicap customers first! Stick the young, healthy people on upper levels. Cater to your clientele accordingly.
Once straightened out, the stay was very pleasant & peaceful. Will definitely stay again but check in process needs to be retooled to achieve a smooth & stress free experience for customer. Staff was very pleasant. Very friendly atmosphere & you get to know alot of people staying there & make new friends & memories.
All good
The hotel could really use some updates, but the front desk worker works extremely hard to make sure your stay is great.
Good for proxomity to Graceland. Otherwise, don't go to Memphis.
Don't expect what's in the pictures. Yes the pool is the right shape....lol
The place is run down, needs some work.
People were nice & helpful.
Room was clean & beds were clean & comfy.
Had lots of hot water & decent pressure.
Yes we would stay again.
Nice clean room spacious. No hairdyer despite being advertised - reception did however provide one when asked. Safe wasn’t working something about a lost key, couldn’t be fixed/reset/opened! Not good. There was a connecting door presumably to the next room which was not fully closed/fitted into the frame - therefore not lockable, merely jammed. I should have requested another room but was tired and only for one night. There was a random/semi naked woman in the pool who wasn’t a guest, police arrived as I checked in and removed her without any drama but the pool and access to rooms as motels are, insecure. Breakfast was fine. Nice coffee, tea, juice, make your own waffles, fun - yogurts, cereal. and bread(not sure I saw a toaster.
It is AMAZINGLY close to Graceland, quiet which I was surprised about given the proximity to the airport & road. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and the Graceland hotel which you can access and I’m told very good with free Elvis movies every night at 7pm. Wouldn’t venture further on foot, probably not hugely safe. So, in summary if you’re still reading, good value particularly if you’re on a budget. Not sure I’d recommend for a lone traveler. But under $15 to downtown and the airport in an uber and perfect for Graceland.
The neighborhood is dangerous, bed bugs found on worn out mattress that was very stained and soiled. Sheets very stained. The door that adjoins rooms looked like someone had broken through it many times, so humid in room that bedding was damp, marijuana smoke coming under door to adjoining room, woman in next room screaming obscenities. Uber driver told us he wouldn’t pick up or drop off in this area due to crime. I should have taken photos but we left quickly when we saw the bed bugs. Stay elsewhere!
The first room that was given to us had no hot water. They did move us to another room. The pool was missing tiles but it was nice and I did like it was shaped like a guitar. I just expected a little better quality being right next to Graceland. Convenient for Graceland. They are renovating right now so hopefully it will get better
Several things not working correctly at this property and the smell in the room, not great. No hot water, TV kept malfunctioning and it generally needs done TLC.
