Not what I expected for the price paid.
Pros:

I like the overall appearance of the lobby and the way the rooms are decorated
Staff were warm and welcoming.

Cons:

The tub and shower was is very bad condition. The coffee maker in my room was filthy. One of the lamps in my room was non functioning and the other lamps shade was broken. I was very underwhelmed by the continental breakfast. I do not feel like I got what I paid for.

The king size 4 post bed was charming.
Pros:

I’ve read negative reviews on other platforms and really have to wonder if we stayed at the same inn!
Pros:

It’s a lovely, comfortable, well-appointed inn with the feel of a B&B but with more spacious rooms and greater privacy. They served wine and cheese each afternoon and a generous breakfast each morning. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The Italian restaurant next door was convenient and the food was delicious.

Cons:

No elevator meant lugging our suitcases up a flight of stairs, but we managed.

good value no frills stay near town
Pros:

Needed a room for one night as I was attending a function in Hartford. Not too far of a drive. Hotel is old but comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful. Room was musty at first but soon fine w AC on. Old carpet and decor but very clean and very comfortable bed. Glad to use the in room mini frig. Did not stay for breakfast. No elevator need to bring your things up the stair but only half a flight really. Good value compared to hotels in town.
