NVI is a great place to stay, and a great value. The staff are always eager to help.
Pros:

I appreciate the improvements to the breakfast room, but it needs to be tweeked a little more. As of now, you have to walk from the breakfast room to the dining room for a cup/lid, then back to the breakfast room to pour juice or milk.

I love the new fridge!

Cons:

Those stupid metal under bed things. Either move them closer together, or remove them. I have small feet but kick them every time I approach the bed, and the sound echoes down the hall.

Wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
Pros:

Rooms were clean.

Cons:

Location had lots of road noise and several trains during the night. Also horrible smell from a feedlot nearby.

Pros:

Whenever we are in Norfolk, Ne we stay at New Vic Inn. The staff is always friendly, and we especially like Amy at the front desk. The beds are comfortable, and the breakfast always good.

Cons:

The last time we stayed there, March 27-28, 2026, was the first time we'd had a room on 2nd floor. When we first walked in, the room was kinda stuffy and smelled a little odd. I always have Lysol spray with me and used that, and some essential oil and the smell went away.

Pros:

It is very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool was great. It is nice sized for hotel. The breakfast is great. There are a lot of options, 2 different waffle choices as well as pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fresh fruit. It was all great.

Cons:

The do not have an elevator but are accommodating to having a first floor room.

The bed frames are a flimsy noisy metal that if your foot touched it, it would sound like thunder. Just Really Wierd!

Cons:

Got my daughter room for her birthday. And the hotel staff said I brought the alcohol. Not in any way shape or form did I. So they lied and I dnt appreciate it.
