Gigi, Sherry, and Mathew were so sweet to all of us. By our third day at the breakfast they already knew our names and how we liked our coffee, and had them ready for us. We were out for a funeral, and Gigi was so sweet and kind, and took the time to just ask us how we were holding up and ask if we needed anything.
When the funeral got pushed back, the hotel was able to extend our stay and even upgrade us to an even better room.
Honestly we had a great time despite the reason we’re here, and would like to thank everyone here for their hard work.
The hotel is in a good location.
The front desk and check in was fast and friendly. The hotel is pretty and smelled fresh and clean. There was complimentary water. There is a restaurant, bar, pool, and work out area, and a business center.
Overall, we had a nice clean room. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. (no hall noise or elevator sounds, although we were close.)The water was very hot. The only thing that they should redo is the wall paper in the bathroom and grout (tub) it was peeling and that part is in need of an upgrade.
We were able to get a discounted price due to my Marriott points and employee discount. The rooms can run from $175+. It was fine for one night. It served our purpose for what we needed. (We stayed one night to attend a funeral.)
Ramey M took such good care of my group. Whenever we needed anything he was there ready to help. This is my 4th time back here for work and everytime Ramy M has been a huge help.
We had an excellent stay at the Westin Mt Laurel! Our room was the perfect temperature, the bed was "heavenly" with soft cotton sheets and a very comfortable mattress, the bathroom had a great toilet and shower/bathtub. There was enough room to move around and open our suitcases without being cramped. We appreciated that we could open the lower right part of our window for fresh air and there is real wood, granite (gorgeous marble lamp) used in the decor.
The highlight of our stay was our breakfast when we were greeted by Gigi and Sherry in the dining room. They had beautiful smiles and a positive approach to serving us. The food was delicious with a very large selection on the breakfast buffet. Sherry got me a cup of hot water for my tea before the dining room opened and Gigi took care to make sure we had hot coffee during breakfast. She checked on us throughout our meal to make sure we were satisfied with our food. Most of all, both women were friendly and efficient and a pleasure to interact with first thing next morning. Thank you to both of them for the best customer service!!! I am a retired flight attendant of thirty years and truly appreciate a positive "con do" customer service attitude:)
On another note, we were looking forward to using the indoor pool but, it was not open. The check in person, Vivek opened the door with his key. The water was cloudy with a white film on the surface. We could tell just by looking at the water that it was not safe or healthy for swimming. When an engineer (he said that he did not speak English) came by he kept encouraging us to go in. When we inquired further, he explained that they were out of chlorine and that his supervisor was bringing in a new box the next day. The pool situation was not well handled by either one of these employees. After we inquired at the front desk check in, one of employees apologized that the pool was not in working condition.
Had a lovely breakfast in the morning with a very thoughtful server named Matthew. Very attentive and kind-and the avocado toast was great.
Ramy, Bernadette, Amir and the rest of the service team consistently delivers an exceptional experience for our bank training programs. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and responsiveness to the needs of our class truly set them apart. Each session is executed seamlessly, with service that goes above and beyond expectations and creates a welcoming, high-level experience for every participant.
It’s clear that this team takes great pride in their work, and it makes a meaningful difference in the overall success of our trainings. I genuinely look forward to continuing our programs at the Westin Mount Laurel, knowing that our teams are always supported with such outstanding care and consistency.
The event was great but GIAVONNA WAS AMAZING!! She made everyone feel special and really just went above and beyond! I would give her 1 million stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Giavonna made the event great!
I simply wanted to leave a review for this sweet bartender but I do find it extremely inconvenient and bizarre that I have to write at least 100 characters for it to be able to post all I wanted to do was give this girl a shout out and now I'm somehow writing a dissertation you guys should really figure that out
That being said, Giavonna was and is awesome
Wanted a pet friendly hotel, generator run, with a restaurant during recent snow storm. All good but could not leave room with dogs except to take them out. So could not come down to TV area and meet other people with dogs.
Restaurant was good ... Matthew my server and all the Restaurant and from t desk people were nice.
ZERO STARS IF I COULD
I stayed at the Westin Mount Laurel solely because I was visiting a family member in prison. It was advertised as the most “luxurious” option in the area, which is completely false and misleading.
Upon arrival, the room looked dirty and poorly maintained. The bed sheets were extremely wrinkled, as if they had not been cleaned or steamed, and there were visible smudge and grime marks on the mirror. I was on a tight schedule the following morning and did not have time to stop and complain, but the condition of the room was unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be a Westin.
The checkout experience was traumatizing and escalated in a way that was completely unnecessary and deeply insulting. I was running slightly over an hour late due to my very sick goddaughter, whom I was trying to allow extra rest to avoid a hospital visit. I communicated this to staff.
Despite that, hotel staff knocked on the door every 15 minutes, creating unnecessary stress. I even opened the door while getting dressed and invited them inside to watch me pack just to show that I was actively leaving and had no intention of overstaying—especially since I barely wanted to be there in the first place.
When I finally got downstairs, I was calmly speaking with the front desk for about 10 minutes when FOUR POLICE OFFICERS suddenly walked up. I was immediately shocked and humiliated. The manager, Krystal Haskins, then told the police “never mind” because I was already downstairs.
The fact that a Black woman in management would attempt to have another Black woman and a CHILD escorted out by police over an hour-late checkout is beyond disturbing. That decision was reckless, excessive, and completely inappropriate.
This situation could have been handled professionally and privately. Instead, it was escalated in a way that felt punitive, humiliating, and discriminatory.
I will be involving my attorney regarding this incident.
I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Manageme
Quality work Giovanna! An unforgettable experience, can't wait to go back!
The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey, but it had a wonderful assortment of fruits, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, eggs, smoked salmon with onions, and cream cheese. Also, they offer a selection of coffee, teas, and hot water. If you don't like what's on the buffet, or you would like in addition; you can order and omelet of your choice. The hostess and wait staff were very warm, friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely stay at the Westin for any future needs!
Everything was wonderful except for one front desk person who didn't seem to want to help me make another reservation for an additional night's stay. He told me to come back in the morning (I originally booked a Friday night stay on7/18/25). It was very busy, but it just seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. I booked through a third party site and I wanted to stay in the same room.
Another young man whose name started with an A, helped me that next morning and was very professional, accommodating and took care of my wants, needs and concerns and kept me in the same room.
Another negative, was that I had a family member stay in room 329 on 7/18/25 and she checked out and forgot 3-4 pieces of clothing including a vintage denim jacket, long dress slacks and a dress skirt and no one in housekeeping turned them in to lost and found. My family member did not realize she left her things until Sunday morning when she arrived home,
On Sunday morning I checked at the front desk and a very tall, darker-skinned man- his name began with an S, was very helpful and professional in checking the locker for any items, but they were not there when he checked. No one has called her yet about the items and that is very disappointing. Folks, check the entire room and closets before you check-out!!!
Clean, smelled nice and good breakfast
Nothing
Location was in close proximity to my final destination.
Although breakfast was paid for during my booking, the hotel said it was not. It was a hassle to get them to finally confirm I had already paid for breakfast and not charge me an additional $40.
