Location
Ambience cleanliness
Quiet even in the middle of the city
Very helpful and pleasant staff
Room climate control was poor
Bed and pillows ( plastic ) uncomfortable
Storage facilities in the room were limited
Staff friendly, handy restaurant and bar
Everything was fine, lift slightly complicated having to use your room key to operate
Location and nearby parking
Although it claimed to be dog-friendly, it wasn’t. The charge for a dog staying overnight is £30. In addition, I signed a paper listing the conditions under which the dog could stay in the hotel - there were 6 of them. In return, she was not allowed in the dining room, the bar etc.. This meant that we had to find a dog-friendly restaurant for dinner in the evening (not to difficult in Leeds) and to order breakfast to be delivered to our room in the morning, at an additional charge of £5. I chose the Marriot because it was my birthday and was hoping for a memorable trip. It has been, but not in a good way. Individual members of staff were very friendly towards our dog but the corporate approach leaves a lot to be desired .
Perfect stay, excellent value for money, room was superb and staff very helpfull and Friendly. Executive lounge was a very nice touch and worked very well, I would definitely book again.
Noise at 4am with clubs kicking out and police sirens, people shouting but suppose thats city centres especially Leeds with studants! Not a reflection on hotel whatsoever would still book again.
Room was clean, everything worked pretty well. Bed was very comfy. Location is terrific and car parking is easy in the Trinity
Shower water pressure was very low (we were on the 6th floor). TV took a while to come on sometimes thanks to the 'Marriot' system it loads on.
The facilities. Food. Room.
The only challenge I had personally was that I felt like the breakfast staff were hovering a bit.
I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel and would happily recommend it to others. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and very informative, making check-in quick and stress-free.
The hotel itself was clean, modern, and clearly well maintained. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in keeping everything spotless.
The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transport links, which made getting around simple.
Overall, the combination of great service, cleanliness, and comfort made this a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay.
Nothing
Breakfast disappointing
Sausages / bread / beans are poor quality.
All round great place
It was all ok
The location
No slippers in the room- bed and pillows not comfortable - bed cover very light and heating system very noisy and caused stuffy nose
Comfortable rooms with a great exec lounge - well worth upgrading
The property is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Complimentary This Works toiletries in the bathroom are a great touch. It was very quiet in the room. The breakfast was outstanding, with every item perfectly made and a huge selection of cooked and cold breakfast items.
The bed was on the smaller side and the mattress was very firm, much too firm for my liking. The hotel could be improved with a spa and pool on site.
