Stay at the Historic St Regis
Pros:

Classic hotel in a great location. And the breakfasts are terrific, with wonderful service from Surangi, Nimali, and Lina. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed! Grossly over rated.
Pros:

The Hotel is located in a very desirable location accessible to the key areas of downtown.
However; our room was one of the smallest rooms I have EVER stayed in!! two of us could not move through the room at the sane time. it had NO refrigerator! We requested one and was told it would be $5.00/day on top if our $350.00+ per nite room charge! It arrived a 2'x2' cube. No room to put it so under the desk. This room was about 10x11 with a king bed. No temp controls in frig. Our meds and everything else froze. Sent frig back.
For the price of about 3.50 per sq ft per nite you can stay in a much much better hotel..... almost anywhere in DT Van!! We will not be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the rooms were elegant, clean,and the bed was comfortable. Location and staff were great!
Pros:

This is a very attractive, remodeled traditional hotel with really elegant rooms, luxurious bathrooms, bathrobes, and top quality products, along with a very helpful, pleasant staff. They went out of their way at several points to accommodate me. The breakfast was excellent and they packed one to go for me the last day. The hotel is conveniently situated near bus and subway lines and under 10 minutes from the main train station. The art museum is a short walk and the Pacific center a block away. It was under 30 minutes to the airport. An excellent deal especially with the breakfast promotion!

Cons:

I enjoyed the property fully. It has a room in the lobby with computers and a printer. The breakfast room is large with paintings everywhere. It does not have a fitness room. They might consider setting up a reciprocal arrangement with a local gym for visitors at a discount. It has excellent coffee in the room—mine had no fridge or minibar but there is room service. A bar restaurant in the hotel, which was a local favorite, closed recently but an excellent French patisserie/coffee shop is located inside the building and is quite popular. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in over the last few years.

Pros:

Good central city location. Beautiful clean hotel with modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious with 3 choices and attentive delightful servers Sara and Nimal. Highly recommended.

Overall a wonderful experience.
Pros:

Very clean and nicely updated rooms. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Parking is a little confusing so be sure to check the website for information.

Pros:

Our second stay at this quality boutique hotel. Located downtown Vancouver with easy walking to anywhere. Perfect hotel footprint, not some cold 30 story high rise. Very good attention to detail and cleanliness in room and overall hotel. Staff very accommodating and professional. Extra bonus…..Free full hot breakfast included with overnight stay.

Pros:

The St. Regis hotel is truly an exceptional place that is maintained and run to the highest standard. Immaculate and spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, high attention to detail in hotel interiors (REAL flowers!), and professional, courteous staff. 5-star experience. The only deficiency was thermostat inside the room did not seem to work (no heat, only cold air).
