Disappointed unable to refund as I travel regularly to see family in the area but will look elsewhere next time

Great improvement in service & good value for money
Pros:

The reception staff were very friendly. The facilities in the room were very good. Plenty of refreshments, complimentary biscuits and welcome note with a chocolate bar.

Cons:

The cleanliness, friendly staff and attention to detail has improved significantly since my last stay 2yrs ago.

Pros:

The staff was lovely and the room was a good size. Good size bed

Cons:

The furniture in our room could do with an upgrade as a bit dated. I found the mattress and pillows was too soft so we didn't sleep as well. Our room could have done with a fridge and there was an empty cupboard which looked liked it used to have one.
