Great location with parking
Pros:

Property was pretty much as expected for a Holiday Inn. Clean and comfortable with good food available. The staff here stood out as all, without exception, were helpful and friendly. Always a smile

Loved our room on 3rd floor. Super king size bed, huge smart tv, powerful shower and fantastic toiletries. No complaints about comfort. No external noise. We slept really well. Everything worked as it should.

No complaints about food either. Everything cooked well and lots of choice. The restaurant was really nice and we had good service at the bar also.

Location was perfect for us. Close enough to city Centre to walk but also close to the metro if you didn’t want to walk and to visit other areas. We would definitely return next time we take a trip up the Toon!

Superb value for money and super friendly staff.
Pros:

This hotel way surpassed my expectations. James the manager on reception was so welcoming and super helpful - a really lovely chap. The facilities are fantastic and the impression in reception when you arrive totally not what I expected. Really impressive. Our room was excellent. Such fabulous value for money. Would 100% recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location great breakfast and quiet room

Terrible night sleep but decent shower at least!
Pros:

The room was small, extremely uncomfortable bed & pillows! Knees hit the wall when sat on the loo!
When sat at dressing table you had to crouch down to look in the mirror, extremely strange & useless design!

Good short stay venue if you want a quiet well run hotel
Pros:

Staff are all kind. Hotel has everything you need for a short stay including car park or proximity to the Metro station. You can walk into the town centre but stay outside the central hubbub.

Cons:

It didn’t affect us and it is soundproofed but it is on a main road.
