We enjoyed our stay in this smart comfortable hotel.
Pros:

Large comfortable room, very clean, complete with fridge. Very good breakfast. Very helpfull staff. Good location near Metro station. in Jesmond. Easy to find.

the pillows were terrible. One of mine was very lumpy and uncomfortable and the second one was so thin it was non-existent.
also the heating wasn't working very well in our room or the corridor outside.

Disappointing. Ok if you like a cell as a double bedroom
Pros:

Room was the smallest double ever bar when I stayed in central New York. I. Am on the small side but getting out of the bathroom required you to be a very flexible as door entering room was too big for the bathroom

Cons:

They attitude of reception staff This was in complete contrast to when We stayed in October when the receptionist was lovely.. When we stayed before the receptionist waived parking charges. On this stay they wanted to charge £11.50 per night. So a £55 surplus on top of the room charge . We only booked because previously they did not enforce the charge.

Great location to visit student at NCL Uni
Pros:

The room was fine - comfy bed, good shower. The carpet needed replacing several years ago.

Cons:

The food in the restaurant is good but the choice for anyone who doesn't eat red meat is very limited. The serving staff took a tree nut allergy very seriously - and were very helpful

Cons:

Disappointed we weren’t told earlier we had to pay for parking. Small thing and useful to be able to park but I was anticipating it would be free.
