Great location for visiting the university. Parking was okay.
Pros:

This is a great location for visiting children at university locally walkable into the city walkable to local pubs and restaurants

Cons:

It may have been bad timing, but we struggled to get the heating on in our room. Couple of calls to Reception didn’t fully fix the problem so we went out on our return. It was somewhat warmer but not Perfect.

Pros:

Location was great for where I needed to be and an easy walk to city centre. Breakfast was good, staff were attentive and freindly.

Cons:

Parking a is an additional £12.60, so cost of a single night rises to £93.60. Hotel is a little tired, this combined with overall cost means it's not great value.

Reasonable hotel in a great location but not the nicest in the area.
Pros:

The location is great and the rooms are a good size

Cons:

Bed is uncomfortable and rooms are noisy. Needs more noise dampening. Cleaning was also slightly off.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful polite and lovely. They helped with any queries we had weather it was how to travel around to recommend restaurants they were very helpful. Breakfast was great. It had everything you needed to start the day from hot fry to cold meats cereals pastries etc. The bar was very quiet but the staff did put the football matches on when we asked to watch them and my nephew enjoyed the pool table every time we came back to the hotel. We had a great stay. Would definitely come back and the train station is literally a 5 min walk that will take you anywhere.

Cons:

There are no complaints which come to mind as everything was good for us

Nice because is convenient
Pros:

The staff is really friendly and also the whole bar area and restaurant is quite well kept. The rooms are not massive but they are comfortable.

Cons:

My room's shower didn't deain properly not because it was clogged but the stopper was like stuck do i had to pull the whole thing out. The room's are like in a maze and the signaling is not clear or obvious i was going in circles for a while.

A disappointing stay. Hotel looks so lovely from the outside.
Pros:

Staff were really lovely. Reception area looks nice.

Cons:

Room felt shabby. Really outdated. Shower accessories rusty and need replacing. Hairdryer covered in dust. The room as a whole just felt neglected.

Lovely and friendly staff, good breakfast; room and hotel quite tired-looking
Pros:

Good location, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Reception area was bright and colourful and served Starbucks Coffee.

Cons:

The hotel (beyond the reception area) looked quite tired. My room also looked quite tired. Curtains were in need of a clean, and there was a slightly damp/musty smell in the bathroom. The room was adequate for an overnight stay, but for the price paid, the room was a little underwhelming, dark and tired. Room in need of a refurb.

Not deserving its stars at all. Avoid.
Pros:

The location is ok.

Cons:

Rooms are very old, and not well maintained. I asked for a quiet night, and even though I understand it was a saturday night; I got waken up every hour throughout the night by other rooms. Bed is old and not confortable, room was dirty, toilet paper roll was used before and not stamped, carpet felt full of dust.
