I was disappointed with my stay. The dishwasher in the room did not work, and the bathroom sink, while having a large basin, had a tiny faucet, making it awkward and uncomfortable to use. The breakfast room lacked basic amenities like bananas, oranges, or other whole fruit, and coffee ran out just 15 minutes after breakfast opened, with no backup available, which was frustrating.
The closet near the door had no hangers. Noise was a major issue—street noise, loud neighbors, and an outdoor guest area directly next to rooms made it feel like an airport hotel. Children playing on the basketball court late at night further disrupted sleep.
The bed and pillows were fairly comfortable, but the constant noise prevented a good night's rest. The communal area carpets were filthy. There were hardly any paper towels in the kitchen, and no extras in the cupboard.
The check-in clerk asked too many personal questions. I also did not appreciate that the pots were Teflon-coated and scratched, as I prefer stainless steel for health reasons. There were no recycling bins, and guests cannot pull up directly to unload baggage.
The room smelled strongly of perfume from previous occupants, which made my eyes burn and caused nausea. The hotel couldn't accommodate a room change, and opening the window only made the noise worse. The AC worked poorly, making the room uncomfortably hot, and the refrigerator did not shut properly, spoiling my food.
Parking was $5, which seems unnecessary and could be included in the room rate.
The manager was very helpful with dinner suggestions. All the staff was very friendly. Had a great stay.
Breakfast was a little late. Need a little more variety.
Nice staff
Very dirty and issues with billing was told I would be called back and have not been called back. It’s been almost 2 weeks.
The combines, the cleanliness and the friendliest
The pool was freezing!!

A group of ten friends made a reservation in May for three two bedroom suites and one one bedroom suite for our get together in September. Everything was confirmed on Sept 8th, but upon arrival on Sept. 9th, we were told there were only two two bedrooms available. The hotel's concession to their mistake was to offer a one-bedroom with a rollaway bed, which they added a charge for. Attempts to speak with a manager all three days we were there failed completely. The accommodations were generally good, but there are a lot of taxes and fees added, including a charge for parking. Travelers booking this hotel should beware. It is also not downtown. We've stayed at other Residence Inns with which we were pleased, but this one didn't live up to expectations.
The room above us started banging and making a lot of noise at about 2:30 am. Around 3:30 am I called the front desk to complain. The noises finally stopped around 4:00 am. When I spoke to the front desk in person in the morning it was the same staff that I talked to at 3:30 am. He said “they should know better”, and that they were extended stay guests. He told me that it shouldn’t happen again for the next night. He seemed very dismissive and unprofessional towards me and the whole situation.
Our room was just outside of the patio where the grill and setting was. People were partying way past 2:00am . It was so loud we couldn’t sleep. Paid way too much money for such inconvenience . Very poor customer service and management
Pool not working, refrigerator not working, staff helpful but limited. We ruined our leftovers, some groceries. Seriously 10.00 parking fee is bs
Will not stay there again
The fact that they would not clean our room on a daily basis. We had to ask for towels and fresh creamer, not the expired and lumpy creamer.
The front desk staff was really great! The coffee was really great, the breakfast was above average (egg white fritt for the win) and the staff was super nice and helpful. Loved this location and would highly recommend for anyone traveling through Durango.
Quiet
I booked through Expedia and everything was great
I got to the Hotel and the guy behind the Counter, John, told me that they didnt have a room for me even though i had confirmation of a room and my payment went through. He also told me that the 3rd party over booked and there was nothing he could do. So, I called the Expedia and straightened it out and they contacted the hotel and the hotel was actually the ones that over booked by not updating their website. Expedia was able to get my payment back and helpful in resolving the issue.
The breakfast was considerably better than other hotels. The fire alarm at midnight was inconvenient and apparently not all that necessary. This is a nice hotel and I recommend it.
