Location was good and the Spa facilities too
The staff were polite and helpful
Overall the hotel rooms were tired and in need of an overhaul. There were several dings/scuffs on the walls, furniture and bath.
When I got there the safe wasn’t working . I opened up the wardrobe and found some sort of insect with wings on the towels
I was unable to use the shower the first evening as the handle came off in my hand and I was unable to turn the hot water down
Maintenance sorted both these problems the next day but I had to wait til after 930 am to have a shower
My room looked over the back into a wooded area but the view was marred by a lot of large empty canisters and stored garden furniture left outside over winter.
It would have helped to have a folder detailing how the TV/shower etc work
Food was great, although limited.
Moroccan curry was delicious.
More staff at the bar especially at dinner time. Also only dessert on the menu was ice cream.
Good size bedroom
Kitchen closed so no access to the restaurant.
Planned to take my 8 year old swimming in the pool in the evening but children not allowed.
We were given a very small room in the hotel Anex building attached to the main building. The room was small and basic and not like the pictures advertised which are actually mostly of the main building. I was there for my 72 nd birthday for 2 nights and immediately requested a upgrade to the main building and a suite which was lovely and worth the extra £50 total for 2 nights.
The hotel has no lifts and if like me you have mobility issues then be prepared. The hotel is cold and we had to get housekeeping to show us how to get the heating working in our room which because it is a suite and probably not used that much the room took ages to heat up and when we went out we left the heating on. We spent some time over the 2 nights killing blue bottles in our room. The TV remote is temperamental and reception changed the batteries but we still had problems changing channel. Also the internet connection in this part of the building was weak and difficult to make or receive phone calls. The communal area including the bar/restaurant is freezing !! and boring !! with no background music or anything and you can hear everyone’s conversation. I was at a funeral last week and there was more atmosphere in the mortuary. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but the fact there was no proper restaurant and you basically just eat in the lounge/bar area and the pricey food menu didn’t appeal to us. The hotel I believe is operated by Asians and most of the staff are Asian and very nice people and polite.
It was conveniently located
My room was dusty, the kettle and mugs did not look clean, the headboard stained. The TV was broken and disconnected from aerial. The staff member at reception was rude and unfriendly.
Great facilities
L hotel en lui même la chambre le petit déjeuner dans la verana
Location and parking.
Room was tired, net screen at window hanging loose.. Room radiator didn't always work when the room needed warmth. No information left in room regarding meals, breakfast etc.Very understaffed at bar/lounge.
Have stayed here on previous occasions when owned by previous company. A very Convenient position and very comfortable beds. The staff were very pleasant.
Shocked that car park has now to be paid for. We have always had our evening meal here and been very impressed but we ordered fish and chips, as on previous occasions, and found that fish was half the size and a huge amount of chips to fill up the plate.
Very clean bed was comfy
Nothing
Location
Very dated. No hot water for the second shower, couldn’t open the window. Window pane was cracked. Very noisy water heater/system which ran all night.
Fabulous hotel, the room was first class very clean and comfortable. We will most certainly be back again in the near future.
Nothing everything was Superb!.
Good location
On arrival big sign to say you have to pay for parking. As you can only drive to property, realistically given location, I don’t know why they don’t add to room as no option to pay. OYO has taken over management and as result staff can’t help with cancellations or refunds and OYO customer service terrible. They just want money and don’t care if you can’t get in touch.
