Guy that was on the desk was very helpful. And the guy in the gym was also good
not get a parking fine
Great location for us, good pool, sauna and steam room! Garden area was beautiful! Very reasonably priced.
Walls are pretty thin and we could hear another guest shouting during the night, few minor thing need touching up like cello tape on remote control and minor things like that. Also for the pool area and they only have a small curtain area as a temp men’s changing area but it’s awful and not very covered. Also the room was outrageously warm to the point we woken up with sweat but there was no fans in the room so had to open the window during the night.
We came back to the hotel after a very long day aprox 10 oclock .Looking forward to a relaxing drink before going to bed.I asked the barman for a drink and in a very unruly manner was told he could serve me one drink only as he had to get home and was closing the bar.Two other couples were refused service.
I have never stayed in a hotel where the bar closed at 10 before It should state this when you are booking.
I have stayed here about 5 or 6 times but I will never stay stay here again.

The staff were nice and the evening meal was exceptional
The room although mainly clean needs so much updating, the furniture is really tatty and worn. Breakfast in the morning cost £13.99 which in general I don't grudge but there was no fruit left and we were early, the buffet breakfast was all but gone and what was stocked up was cold. Not worth the money I'm afraid and we won't be going back, disappointed as used this hotel for years.
Other thank the location, this hotel was a complete disappointment
Due to stay here during a wedding reception however a multitude of issues arose. I was ‘checked in’ to my room for a total of 20minutes before checking out due to the state the room was in.
The room was dirty - dusty shelves, mouldy pillow cases!, hairs on bed linen and the carpet within the room hall entrance had lifted away on the corner which I stumbled over on the way in as my toe caught.
On top of this the room smelt incredibly strongly of stale cigarette smoke and chlorine from the swimming pool which after 20minutes of within the room was creating a headache.
I decided to check out and not stay in the hotel as it was a completely unacceptable and very unacceptable to have been charged £124 for the night!
On top of this, despite asking at reception, no refund was offered.
I left the hotel to then contact their customer service the following week, being told they escalated this and I would have a refund processed. However despite this, and after numerous failed phone call attempts to ask for an update, I’ve had no refund and no contact from the company in 2 weeks.
Absolutely shocking hotel, with equally shocking customer service. I cannot stress enough that no one should stay here. £124 out of pocket for an uninhabitable hotel room.
