Reservations for Beauty Treatments for Solas Spa at the Edinburgh Marriott must be made in advance of arrival to ensure availability. Inquiries made after arrival cannot be guaranteed a time slot. Please note that Solas Spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Dogs are welcome and T&C's apply. Maximum of 2 dogs per room. An anti-allergy deep cleaning fee of £30 for 1 dog and £50 for 2 dogs will apply. For stays longer than 7 days, there will be additional weekly fee of £50.

Not all rates include breakfast. If you book a breakfast inclusive rate, breakfast is offered for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 12 years old.

Edinburgh day out
Pros:

Hotel is clean, modern, and very welcoming. Great location for the airport. Lovely pool .
Food was good especially for kids.

Pros:

Goed ontbijt, schone kamers, rustig, prima accomodatie (zwembad, fitness ruimte) - zeer goede verbinding met Edinburgh centrum

Cons:

We waren met een gezin van 5, onze twee geboekte kamers lagen zeer ver uit elkaar

Pros:

Comfortable beds and room. Close to public transportation and a grocery store.
Quiet despite being beside a busy street.

Cons:

There's a mini fridge in the room but it isn't cold at all. Bought a bit of food and had to get a bucket of ice from the bar to keep our food from spoiling.

The bed was extra firm. The bathroom was tiny. Use sitting space in the hotel room to expand bathroom next reno.

Pros:

We liked the jacuzzi that was very nice and warm and also the spa area.

We also liked the breakfast, you do have to pay extra but id say its worth it so then you dont have to buy lunch.

Close to morrisons and lidl and the tram service. This was a big bonus.

Cons:

The shower bath combo didnt drain properly. In the shower the tub kept filling up. I did report it but to no avail.

The bathroom wasn't dirty but wasn't clean I would say. Quite a few areas which could have done with tlc. Also a big crack in the tiles.

Staff were fantastic especially with children.

Cons:

Bathrooms very tired - showers awful, water flow dreadful, useless for an all over wash or hair washing,, difficult to clamber in to or to avoid being soaked when turning them on.

My review
Pros:

I enjoyed the service of food and the amount of choices. The staff were lovely and location was great.

Cons:

The cleanliness. When entering the room, there were many spots that they have missed. I even noticed a hair on the floor from previous owner. The pool was nice but small. However the temperature seemed to be quite cold. The shower was at first hard to work out and only one of them seems to be working as the other one was too hot. We were not given enough pillows. Pillows were too soft which ended up hurting my neck as there wasnt much support.

Excellent stay, slightly more on the pricier side but couldn’t beat ease of the airport
Pros:

Hotel was just what we needed. Bed was a big double, breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Location was superb metres away from the bus stop with direct access in less than 10 minutes to the airport. Lovely bonus to be able to use the pool and sauna etc. Although we found the Grill restaurant expensive the food was excellent.

Cons:

Bed was slightly hard for our preferences. Jacuzzi wasn’t working during our night stay which is a shame. Restaurant/bar was expensive but they have you as there is nothing else around.

Cons:

To że parking jest płatny dla klientów hotelu. Na informacji jest napisane że 12 godzin jest za mniejszą kwotę po czym wchodząc do hotelu pani mówi że możemy u niej zapłacić tylko za całą dobę.
W pokoju było zimno, a klimatyzacja chodziła tak głośno jakby miała wybuchnąć

Camera pulita e confortevole di dimensioni adeguate alla famiglia.
