Reservations for Beauty Treatments for Solas Spa at the Edinburgh Marriott must be made in advance of arrival to ensure availability. Inquiries made after arrival cannot be guaranteed a time slot. Please note that Solas Spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

It's an Ok hotel which I used for a business stay, check in was friendly, bar staff are great and good service. Room was spacious, comfy bed but shower was awful. Has a leisure club was it was packed busy so I didn't go in. Plenty of parking but the spaces are small.
Showers were rubbish and hotel was at capacity so they pumped the prices up
Rooms were excellent - very spacious.
Restaurant could have been better but it was ok.

The lift was not properly on the second day, we were in the 3rd floor, which means 4th floor if you’re from the US. No help was offered.

Very disappointing experience. The room was cold, the bathroom was not properly clean, and basic toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel were missing.
The food in the restaurant was also very disappointing and not tasty at all. We paid £95 for a meal that was simply not worth the money.
Overall, paying £200 for one night, the value for money was extremely poor. The comfort and standard of the room did not justify the price, and the poor cleanliness and lack of basic amenities made the experience even worse.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place, especially considering the high prices and the low standard of service and food.
Front reception was Wow on arrival. But as soon as you ventured beyond the Facade, it was very tired.
As above, and our room was tired - especially the bathroom, which smelled musty.
Not at all impressive as a big name hotel.
No water in the rooms. When we signed out and mentioned that, reception told us they provide jugs. Hmm, just not to us. The room was stifling. Couldn't open the window (a strange concept of very old aluminum framed window, with another aluminum framed window mounted on the window sill. The radiator wasn't on so had to turn on the beast of an aircon unit on. It was so loud I couldn't sleep, so turned it off. Then got hot. (This was October - it was jumper weather outside!!).
