Reservations for Beauty Treatments for Solas Spa at the Edinburgh Marriott must be made in advance of arrival to ensure availability. Inquiries made after arrival cannot be guaranteed a time slot. Please note that Solas Spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Dogs are welcome and T&C's apply. Maximum of 2 dogs per room. An anti-allergy deep cleaning fee of £30 for 1 dog and £50 for 2 dogs will apply. For stays longer than 7 days, there will be additional weekly fee of £50.

Not all rates include breakfast. If you book a breakfast inclusive rate, breakfast is offered for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 12 years old.

Parking controls are in operation. Your car registration must be input at the terminals during check-in.

Perfect relaxing.
Pros:

Location was great for us, no 100 bus practically st foor to and from hotel, breakfast very good value, all staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the pool and spa.
Maria in dining room was exceptional as was Stuart in the spa.

Cons:

I had curry one night,not much chicken in it, I did say to waiter ,but was very tasty.

Pros:

The hotel was short staffed and staff had been pulled from the glasgow hotel to help out

Cons:

I was offered an upgrade to a suite. This upgrade included the parking. The hotel are aware of this but sent me a bill by parked to say that I didn't pay. I got in cit act with the hotel and they realised their error but when they looked into it because I paid the fee ( to avoid it increasing) they siad they could no longer do anything. To top it all off I had to pay 60 pounds admin fee to the car rental company because of the ticket. In all the upgrade cost me 140 euro. I am absolutely disgusted that this hotel has done this and I am just left footing this bill. What a double standard, or is that how people make money off a free upgrade

A mixed experience....
Pros:

This was a mixed experience. On the plus side, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly, my room was very comfortable and spacious, the bar food was very good, and the breakfast satisfactory. The weak spot was housekeeping which was almost invisible (at least on the floor I was on). On my first day when I returned to the hotel around 6pm after a day out, my room hadn't been done. Iraised this at reception and the gentleman I spoke to was very apologetic and said he'd sort it. To his credit he did, but it wasn't until nearly 8pm before someone came to do the room. On my second day, I again returned in the evening a bit later (after 7pm) to find that my room hadn't been done again. Maybe I was just unlucky to have stayed on days when there ws staff shortage. I hope my experience in this regard is not typical.
