Pros:

The staff were amazing the hotel itself has comfortable atmosphere

Cons:

Nothing, really but if you want to stay at taksim this is little far. And rooms are almost of same standard size

Great customer experience
Pros:

I have been staying in Grand Hayat Taksim for more than 10years and the service is always superb . I want to mention about Ufuk Ali, I see him quite often at breakfast . He is very passionate about his job, extremely caring and high level customer attention. He is a great asset to the organisation.

Wonderful Grand Hyatt Hotel in Istanbul
Pros:

A wonderful hotel. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic! Spacious room, a well equipped bathroom. Quiet room. A wonderful garden and pool. And a gentle staff. Everything was perfect! I strongly recommend.

Charm, History and Location
Pros:

Grand Hyatt Istanbul is an older Hyatt property, in this case however I would call it charm and patina rather than wear. Once past the door security you are greeted by a pleasant lobby and seating area with an open mezzanine to the second floor. The desk staff were friendly, warm and efficient.

We stayed in a Grand Suite, which was well appointed and clean. Having to pump toilet button to flush with varying degrees of success detracted from the suite experience however. Would have loved to find Turkish wine in room rather than European varietals.

Breakfast buffet was fun, offered an international selection of delights and was sometimes chaotic. We recommend getting in and out early for the best experience. Stunning pool and garden area, great for a stroll after breakfast. Loved the woman making fresh stuffed flat bread!

Taksim Square is a short walk from the property with street trolleys, Hüseyin Ağa Mosque, Hagia Triada Greek Orthodox Church to name just a few. Easy to spend a pleasant day strolling around the square shopping, snacking and relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed spinning down in the lounge every evening after a day exploring the city. Drinks, light snacks and calm. Ufuk Ali and Nurettin were our lounge hosts and were wonderful.

Yeliz was our house keeper, she brought a smile to our faces every day! She would proudly tell us every time we saw her "I am Turkish and do not speak English" then smile and take care of our room.

We will stay at Grand Hyatt Istanbul on our next visit.
