Very comfy pillows and beds and the view was great.
TV did not work properly.. turned on and navigated to the menu but could not select a program and therefore could not watch anything.

Not clean, I reserved a walk-in shower room and beach view but got a bathtub room and garden view.

Zimmer war für mich als alleinreisende groß genug, die Lage war Richtung Wailua und daher mit schönem Blick ins Grüne und aufs Meer und besonders ruhig-vom Pool abgewandt. Das Frühstück habe ich nicht genutzt, da der Buffetpreis (37 $) in keinem Verhältnis zu den angebotenen Speisen steht. Besonders gefallen haben mir die sehr freundliche und zuvorkommenden Art von Lissa an der Rezeption, die alles in ihrer Macht stehende möglich gemacht hat für mich. Ebenso Karen, die Concierge, die mit viel Liebe und Einsatz meine Touren vor Ort organisiert hat.
Der Zimmerservice hat drei Tage lang den Boden nicht gereinigt, wodurch Sand- und Grasreste immer wieder unter den Füßen klebten. Außerdem hat der junge Mann vom Service eine Wasserflasche, die neben dem Bett stand, eigenhändig entsorgt. Auch kam er ohne anzuklopfen direkt ins Zimmer. Die Wasserflasche wurde mir von der Rezeption ersetzt und die Tür konnte ich mit einem Metallbalken zusätzlich verriegeln. Der Strand vorm Hotel ist nur bedingt zum Baden geeignet.

I thought the food menu as the bar was very limited. I would suggest an upgrade to add more appetizers such as guacamole and chips, and spinach artichoke dip and chips.
Stayed here based on a friend’s recommendation and it exceeded expectations! Very clean and right on a beach. More than half the cost of the Grand Hyatt I was considering. This is also centrally located which is perfect for visiting both the north and south shores.
This properties fairly close to the airport, and situated on the beach, although you can’t swim or do any activities from here because of the rocks. I would say this is a solid three star resort. Property is definitely dated, Pool area is relatively small. Everything is expensive as it is all over Hawaii, so nothing new there. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was extremely small and room needs updating. We didn’t see any bugs as other reviewers have reported. Staff was generally very nice. Resort fees high for what you actually get.
My biggest complete with this resort was how they advertise their rooms. We upgraded for a “ocean view room“. What we got was a tiny peek-a-boo view from our room, which was toward the very front of the hotel and away from the ocean.
We booked a while ago and paid for the upgrade. When we went to ask about possibly transferring to a room with the better view, they told us they couldn’t do it. Be advised if you pay extra for this room this is what you might end up with. They could better to be accurate in their description and call it a partial view or something like that. Anyway, it didn’t set us off in the best frame of mind when we checked in. Wouldn’t stay again.

Expensive. Also, the bathrooms are extremely small. The toilet paper holder is inconvenient and needs to be repositioned.
It was a good location. Closed to the airport and to main road. Easy access to the store and market. Overall, hotel is clean and well kept.

Das Sheraton hat eine zentrale Lage gleich am Meer. Leider war täglich z.T. heftiger Wind im Oktober.
Da der Eingangsbereich und alle weiteren Räume offen waren, zog es überall und so war es unangenehm irgendwo zu sitzen oder abends eine beleuchtete und gemütliche Sitzgelegenheit um z.B. ein Kartenspile zu spielen zu finden.
Da zu jedem Zimmer immer nur ein dreieckiger Balkon vorhanden war, kam leider auch dieser Bereich nicht in Frage, um gemütlich den Abend ausklingen zu lassen.
Die einzige Bar war die Poolbar im Außenbereich mit sehr einfachem Mobiliar und alles wurde in Plastik serviert. Nun stellen Sie sich mal einen guten Wein aus dem Plastikbecher vor!
Aus diesem Grund haben wir dann im Restaurant an einen Tisch Platz genommen, um dort einen Wein aus einem echten Glas zu trinken, wurden aber sehr fehement und unhöfflich fortgejagdt mit den worten, dies wäre eine Restaurant. Noch nie habe ich soviel Unhöfflichkeit in einem Hotel zu solch einem hohen Preis erleben müssen.
Hinter dem uns zugewiesenem Zimmer lag befand sich direkt die große Eismaschine und das führte dazu, das sie mehrmals pro Nacht sehr laut ansprang und ich trotz Ohrstöpseln nicht schlafen konnte.
Mein Fazit: Mehr als unsensibel das Personal des Hotels und für Europäer völlig überteuert um dann schaflose Nächte zu haben und mit Plastikgeschirr versorgt zu werden.
Keine einzige gemütliche Sitzugelegenheit um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen!
We loved how close it was to everything in town, and how the rooms were beach themed instead of a basic hotel, the pool area was amazing!
We liked the location of our room and the view was nice. The prepaid breakfast was perfect. That was a great value. Definitely will do it again. Food was good and the buffet was okay as well. Staff in the restaurant were super helpful and almost all were very friendly. Only one hostess was not as friendly. The view for the dining room was very nice and very pleasant. I like that they rent bicycles and they have a Tesla 3 you can also rent by the hour or the day if you need transportation. Many amenities and very family friendly.
The amount of food you get for meals is a lot of food. I was never able to finish my plate. The shrimp and fish were a bit overcooked for my liking.
The housekeeping came very late in the afternoon. We are accustomed to morning service.

Had a few food options available in close proximity, excellent location next to a beach, staff was wonderful. The location on the island was great! See we’re lucky to avoid being hit by the rain, and we even saw a seal on the beach with a short walk! Best to give them healthy space. Large creatures and all.
The first time we were looking for food we thought we had to be seated. Turns out you could seat yourself. A nice surprise, a sign would have prevented the confusion the first night.
Beds were comfortable beds, However, Noisy halls, air conditioning, and plumbing! You could hear all night and day, showers, toilets, and anything and everything in the halls. Weather was not good, pool not warm enough for conditions, everyone in hot tub!
