Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel
Pros:

Die Poollandschaft war ok, auch die Poolbar.
Im Nahe gelegenen Kapaa konnte man verschiedene Restaurants finden- per Auto oder mit einer halben Stunde den Beachwalk entlang.

Cons:

Von einem Marriott Hotel hätte ich in der Ausstattung mehr erwartet. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die aircondition sehr laut ( auf Rückfrage: die sind alle so) es wird mit Lage am Meer geworben, aber Baden gehen kann man nicht , da direkt nach dem Strand ein Riff im Wasser losgeht. Das Frühstück für 39 USD war etwas dürftig.
Erschreckend, dass in der heutigen Zeit alle Getränke in Plasticbechern gereicht wurden. Zuviel Müll.

Pros:

Gorgeous View; front desk, room keeping and valet staff were nice; free bike rentals; free shave ice, games and activities; proximity to Shopping and restaurants; pools were clean and nice temps. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas around pools and also chairs near ocean on the grass.

Cons:

Old worn, heavy shutters and sliding doors were difficult to operate, tiny bathroom; room was extremely humid- towels wouldn’t dry- I think their ventilation needs updating. no swimmable beach; hardly any service by pool.

Pros:

My stay would have been great except for the fact that my complaint to the front desk was never resolved. In fact I had to call 2 or 3 times to get someone to answer the phone. I even went down to the front desk to complain and my issue still did not get resolved. The only person that tried to assist me was Lissa.

Very disappointed, I paid the same price for a room that was located in a construction zone that other people paid for o

The staff at the crooked surf were great

Cons:

Our room was noisy due to the construction in the hallway right outside our room , the bathroom was dirty with someone else’s hair. The balcony was not big enough for two chairs. There were people using the pool and the chairs and the towels that were not guests of the resort.

Beautiful property.
Pros:

Property was beautiful inside and out. Convenient location. Beach front! Walking distance from market, Starbucks, fast food, Coconut Marketplace. Parking in the hotel was good, never struggled to find a spot. Easy to exit to main highway and easy to get to all the island spots--west, south and north. Clean beautiful pool and jacuzzi - we used it every day. Convenient guest laundry. Only downside, Restaurants were not superb, better meals were outside, especially for the price. Everything else was fantastic. We would stay here again. We wouldn't eat here again.

Day Room Use!
Pros:

Booked a day pass at this hotel! We were able to check in at 10am and check out was 8pm! Pool was nice, service around the pool was quick. The room was spacious for our bags. Great space to rest and refresh before a midnight flight. I could see wear and tear around the hotel and some areas looked like they needed a little extra elbow grease to be cleaned. All and all was a good spot to hang before our flight.

Pros:

More like 0 stars for this stay. Have stayed here many times, never had a terrible room till today. Room 353 backs up to their new AC, noisy, open slider hot air comes in. They should not give this room to anyone. They should be embarrassed that they even use it for a room. I gave it a 3 because I’ve stayed here so many times and have always had a decent room. But if judged it by this stay alone it would be 0 stars. They weren’t even nice about changing the room, but they did give me a different room, better but not the standard for this business trip. This is not a corporate hotel, it’s a franchise, I am a platinum with Marriott. Bottom line make sure your room is no where near AC power plant…because that is what it is.

L'environnement très beau au bord de la mer en pleine nature (merci Kauai) mais on ne peut pas se baigner !

Cons:

Pas de valet en arrivant à l'hôtel pour nous aider avec les bagages.
La réceptionniste désagréable à la réception, n'a pas fait d'effort pour nous trouver une chambre de disponible alors que l'hôtel était loin d'être complet, j'ai fait intervenir le directeur général qui a trouvé une chambre en 5 min. Meubles vieux, bar de piscine triste à mourir, cocktail mauvais et petit déjeuner immonde tout est de mauvaise qualité. Accueil au petit déjeuner problématique avec l'hôtesse tous les matins (sur son portable ou absente)on la dérange ! tapis de la chambre sale. salle de bain excentrique, les toilettes sont collés au lavabo et à la douche, balcon minuscule impossible de s'y installer à 2. Climatisation défectueuse, 2 interventions. Ménage pas fait à 16h00. Pas de chausson, pas de peignoir. aucun étendoir pour maillot de bain (pas très malin pour un hôtel en bord de mer) ! Aucune attention pour notre anniversaire de mariage. Beaucoup trop cher pour 3 nuits (+plus de 1600 euros) Aucune attention apportée aux clients, un hlm à touriste. A fuir !!!!
