Terrific staff, comfortable, spotless hotel. Great location.
Pros:

Liked everything except the bacon at breakfast which looked boiled and when I asked for 2 strips well done, they came back deep fried! Young woman from Honduras escorted me to parking garage with umbrella, made phone calls, helped with luggage. All staff terrific.

Cons:

The bacon at breakfast. Yuck! Also there’s sugar in the brown soda bread.

A luxurious stay, in a great part of town, with excellent staff and facilities
Pros:

Everything about the Davenport was first class. The lobby was spacious and welcoming and the staff at reception were professional and very friendly. We arrived early from Canada and were able to leave our luggage at reception. A room was ready for us at 10:30. We enjoyed the lounge in the evenings and the breakfast buffet in the morning. Of particular note, was the friendliness of the staff. Kerry, in the breakfast room, was outstanding,

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Sehr gute Lage, saubere und grosse Zimmer, sehr schönes Gebäude innen und aussen.

Cons:

Das Dinner-Restaurant war leider zur Zeit nicht in Betrieb und das Schwimmbad sowie das vielgelobte SPA konnte nicht frei benutzt werden und es hätte zusätzlich 70 Euro pro Person und pro Benutzung (!) gekostet. Dies ist unüblich und hätte bei diesen verhältnismässig hohen Zimmerpreisen inkl. sein müssen, oder zumindest für Hotelgäste vergünstigt angeboten werden sollen.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean and beautifully designed, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The food was also very good and enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful buffet with a side of awesome staff
Pros:

Had a wonderful experience.. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I am gluten free and they walked me around and showed me the safe items and went as far as making me a special request that was suggested by the lovely Evelyn! Food was very good and a wide variety. The buffet was loaded with healthy snacks and juices as well. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff. Thank you for being awesome!

Excellent Service
Pros:

Flavio, Jack, and Chef Chris outdid themselves and made our experience at the 1863 lounge truly special. From the drink recommendations to the special consideration and treatment given to our infant son, it was a true 5 star experience befitting a luxury environment.

One of Dublins best
Pros:

Central location is outstanding. And Right across the street from The Gingerman Pub. A traditional Irish Pub with a friendly and cozy atmosphere. And Victor and the staff were incredible. Room was perfect.

One night in Dublin

Evelyn in the restaurant and breakfast room is so kind. She knew I needed coffee after an overnight flight from NY. Everything about the Davenport from their kindness to location will bring me back.
