Lovely small hotel in Seyssel on Rhône River

Gute Lage, relativ ruhig, grosses Badezimmer. Essen gut.

Empfang unbesetzt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Nur 1 Karte für Zimmer und Hauseingang, für zwei Personen die evtl. unabhängig unterwegs sind und die fehlende Besetzung des Empfangs zu wenig. Insbesondere wenn Strom im Zimmer auch noch von der Karte abhängig ist.

Tres agréable, propre.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The setting along the river was gorgeous, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good (though not a lot of variety). We would rate the stay higher were it not for the fact that it took us about 30 min to get into the property when we arrived around 6PM or so. The door was locked, you could see the front desk though no one was there, we knocked loudly on both the front and rear entrances. We even flagged down two local people to see if they knew if the hotel was still open. Finally, I called the number posted on the door, and someone answered. Given language difficulties (French vs English), I wasn’t sure if we were connecting, so I handed the phone to one of the local helpful people who knew our situation. In any case, a lady (I think the owner) arrived within minutes from down the street and got us in quickly in a VERY cheerful (though curiously non-apologetic) manner. She said “her guy” should have been there to let us in. No matter …….. there were no heated exchanges and we ended up with a very nice visit. We walked across the river to eat at another hotel, since the Hotel Rhone restaurant was closed. All in all, we ended up with a good story!

l'Hotel est bien. Il a du être modernisé récemment. vue sur le rhone sympa. Chambre petites. Petit dej avec un vrai café crème (pas une machine = beurk).
2 bémols: le parking et le prix un peu élevé pour le niveau de prestation en province.

Un séjour très agréable. Hôtel qui offre un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Refait à neuf récemment. Très propre et jolie vue sur le Rhône. Point positif: la climatisation en période de canicule.

Hyggeligt hotel.Pænt og rent. Værten virkede lidt arrogant. Vi kom kl. 19:50 og ville gerne spise. Det kunne ikke lade sig gøre. Og desuden mente hun hele byen var lukket. Vi gik ud og fandt ca. 5 åbne madsteder. Bl. a. en hyggelig restaurant ved floden med god mad.

Absolutely loved this hotel!! Great location. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Pay a little extra for the river balcony view - so worth it!!!

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen an der Rhône und ist sehr schön ausgestattet. Das Hotel wird durch eine Familie geführt, welche sehr nett und hilfsbereit ist.

Très bon établissement mais vraiment dommage qu'un cuisinier ne reste pas au delà de 19h30 par ces temps de crise sanitaire.

La chambre (no5) est jolie, bien propre, avec plateau à thé et café. Joli balcon avec table et chaises. Coffre fort, sèche cheveux, tout pour être bien comme à la maison
Seul point négatif : Les escaliers d accès sont poussiéreux

This is a brand new hotel in 2019. We booked it even though there were no reviews. We were cycling the Via Rhona trail and this hotel was right on the river. Family run, and their service was excellent. Brand new, modern bathrooms. There was a garage for our bicycles. Would recommend.

Tout était très bien.
Pour un petit séjour ,je le recommande.
Petit village sympa ,conseillé d'avoir un véhicule.
