I experienced nothing but kindness from Kayla at the front desk during check in and beyond! Added experience being very helpful was Mr Carlos going out of his way to help me out in time of need. These 2 definitely made me want to stay here again!
when waiting downstatirs and having breakfast an employee was very nice to us - asking different girls on little league ball team. I told him how much that made up for the rude waitress had night before. He comped my granddaughter's meal. At least you have someone that seemes to enjoy his job!!!
we ate dinner in restaurant, 15-20 and the waitress never smiled, acted as if did not want to be there, poor service and then put the upcharge tip on our bill. Another waiter helped her some. We got up and got our own silverware. Food was not hot. I could go on and on. We were a large group but not unruley.
for the price of the hotel, you would think the restuarant would have better service. I always tip well - again do not like it automatically placed on my ticket. I keep just thinking maybe she was having a bad day, extra fatigue from being poss pregnant, rough life, whatever.
It was really nice, view was beautiful.
Was too expensive for what it offered. My $500 stay for 2 nights for a bed and bathroom. No microwave $4 bottles of water, a pool that every other hotel offers and that’s about it. Oh and $30 additionally just to be able to park my car.
My husband and I take stay at Hyatt many times for downtown concerts. The staff is always nice and the hotel is clean.
The down feather pillows
The staff was very accommodating, also the security personnel were very tentative to my companion since she had a fall on uneven concrete, their actions prevented further pain and suffering...
The room had limited lighting, being a senior citizen, I'm used to rooms with a light at the night stand and a light that's dimmable close to the restroom. We ended up using the bathroom mirror light as a night light...
Nice location right on the river. Beautiful area and nice hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. We rode scooters around downtown and by the river.
The bathroom flooded every day, and I stayed for 7 days.It was never fixed i booked on booking.com and was quoted a certain price. I booked it 2 months ahead of time, and when I arrived, I was charged $200 more. They only cleaned my room once in the seven days. The stay was relatively private, but uncomfortable
Very comfortable and nice place to stay 10/10. Clean spacious lobby, wonderful staff, and amazing rooms. Property feels new and smells great.
Very nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful rooms, very clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
I traveled to attend an event at the Wichita Boathouse, next door to the hotel. The hotel was very refreshing, the lobby was spacious with plenty of places to sit and relax and windows all around. The check in was easy and getting in/out of the garage for self-park was easy with your hotel key. The restaurant had delicious food, the bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. The room was clean and allowed for relaxing with TV and movies (but limited channels) or working with a desk and several digital outlets. I had a river view room on the 16th floor, which was lovely. Daily maid service was a plus.
Compared to other hotels in the area, it is a bit more expensive but you are paying for extras not found in most hotels- close to downtown events (the River Festival was there when I went), daily housekeeping, shuttle to/from airport, restaurant on-site w/excellent food, self-park or valet service.
The only negative I'd give it was the reservation process. I had to switch days and although I always worked online directly with Hyatt's general website, the reservation kept changing. First, it was lost, then the change was not shown, then the room type was different. As I was flying in the day of arrival, I was able to get the room I had reserved by working directly with the local hotel. I would either suggest calling the local hotel to make reservations or check your reservation frequently if you make it through their corporate website.
Awesome stay right on the river. We were able to walk down to see the Keeper of the Plains, approx 25 minute walk. Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff.
