Great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially Ms. Joyce. The check-in process was quick and smooth. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.
I was almost turned away at check-in because I was told my card I have used here for years was no longer accepted. I was travelling with my 11-year-old who started to panic that we wouldn't have a place to sleep. I was told I'd be allowed to check in with my card this one last time and they were putting a note on my file not to accept my card any more. I was also charged a $100 hold fee in stead of the usual $50 hold fee and I had to talk the employee down from the $300 he wanted to charge me.
At check-out the next morning the person who checked us out was confused as I was told that my card was perfectly acceptable and that the note would be taken off my file. So very bad check-in but very good check-out.
Loved the hotel room space and comfy bed.
The bathroom should be updated and shower.
Could this hotel use an update, yes it definitely could but we had a very lovely stay. Our room and the hotel overall was very clean, the staff were friendly and professional, the room and bed were comfortable and it’s a great location for a great price. Not a 5 star hotel, but it gets 5 stars because of value for money in downtown Halifax and other points mentioned above. Would definitely stay here again.
Pay for parking
Staff were great and the bed was super comfortable.
There was a very unpleasant odour in the room like old carpet (staff agreed about the smell). We were moved to another room that smelled like fabreze over old carpet.

The king bed was nice but pull out uncomfortable to sit on and horrible to sleep on.
Thank you for providing a crib, but babies need nice blankets too. It looked like a square cut off from an old adult blanket. Not very soft or comfortable.
Not enough cutlery or dushware or glasses.
The doors enclosing the bedroom was broken and would not stay closed.
No extra blankets. Limited TV programs for little ones.
I assumed stove meant there would be an oven.
Accessibility to the hot tub, up a stairwell was not great.

We had a wonderful stay at Cambridge Suites. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring downtown Halifax and the waterfront.
A special thank you to Simran for her excellent communication and warm hospitality. She was responsive, professional, and made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciate her support and would gladly stay here again!
upon arrival the staff did not look pleasant or happy. No smiles or anything. We called down for some spoons as our door dash did not come with any and were told they would bring some right up but it took 2 calls. There was not much variety for breakfast and you had to $5 if you wanted bacon or sausage.
We had a WONDERFUL experience with Jeremy at Cambridge Suites Halifax. We were given a complimentary upgrade to celebrate our anniversary and the harbor view suite was amazing. Everything was clean, and we were greeted by such kind people. Jeremy left a very nice card with some treats to celebrate and also phoned the room to check in on us. We were made very welcome during our stay here and will definitely return. Thank you Cambridge Suites Halifax team!
