Amazing stay
Pros:

The location was amazing, 2 minutes walk away from the seabus and the bus station, located right in the middle of everything giving us easy access to explore North and South Vancouver

Cons:

The only drawback could have been the lack of breakfast, but the options around are more than plentiful

Pros:

Lage am Seabusterminal und von unserem Zimmer einmaliger Blick auf die Stadt. Grosse Zimmer, Freundlichkeit Personal.

Cons:

Sehr dünne Wände mit absparrbarer Holztür zu anderen Zimmern - man konnte vom Nachbarzimmer jeders Wort verstehen , alte Austattung aber Renovierung geplant.

I was able to rest in a very basic, outdated , confortable room.

Pros:

Location was amazing and the staff were incredibly helpful. Lovely comfy beds

Cons:

There was no breakfast available due to renovations. There are excellent places to eat nearby however so it wasn't so bad. The hotel looks in need of a bit of a spruce up hence the renovation work.

Good place if you want to be in North Vancouver
Pros:

Adjacent to lots of restaurants and harbor. Staff was always very friendly. Room size/bathroom size good. Quiet rooms.

Cons:

Mattresses older and not comfy. Parking expensive and crowded. Microwave tray dirty. There was not a true water view from room, had to go out on tiny balcony and look around the corner. Location was far from Vancouver downtown.

Hotel als Alternative zu den teuren Downtown Hotels
Pros:

Top Lage mit Aussicht auf Downtown. Mitten gelegen in den Shipyards direkt an der Seabus Haltestelle - viele Restaurants und Cafés in der direkten Umgebung. Sehr nettes Personal. Kaffeebar mit Starbucks Kaffee.

Cons:

Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen- Betten zeigen Abnutzungserscheinungen, insgesamt aber sauber. Klimaanlage war laut und Badezimmer könnte ein Update bekommen. Da das Hotel zentral liegt kann es an schönen Abenden schon mal etwas lauter werden. Fitnessraum sehr klein und lädt nicht zur Nutzung ein.

Bedbug infestation
Pros:

I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at this hotel based on my experience.

My young daughter and I stayed here during an unexpected business trip, which we combined with an important milestone: I was taking her to purchase her first car. Instead, our stay ended with me suffering numerous bites concentrated along the right side of my torso, consistent with what I believe were bedbug bites.

I am a retired firefighter and medic, so I am not making this allegation casually. I also considered carefully whether there was another plausible place I could have been exposed. Prior to this hotel stay, the only other bed I had slept in was at my girlfriend’s home. She is a physician, and there has been no indication of a bedbug problem there.

What made an already upsetting experience considerably worse was the response from hotel management. Rather than treating my report seriously and investigating how a guest could have experienced this, management denied responsibility and suggested that I must have contracted the bites somewhere else.

That response was unacceptable. A hotel cannot necessarily prevent every pest problem from ever occurring. What it *can* control is how it responds when a guest reports one. I expected concern, a prompt and transparent investigation, and some willingness to take responsibility if a problem was found. Instead, I felt dismissed and blamed.

Bedbugs are not a minor inconvenience. Discovering suspicious bites after sleeping in a hotel creates considerable worry about whether you may have carried them into your belongings, vehicle, or home. It was particularly distressing to deal with this while travelling with my daughter.

I would not stay here again, and based on both the bites I experienced and management’s handling of my complaint, I cannot recommend this hotel. If management had responded with concern and taken the complaint seriously, my review might have been very different. The denial and dismissal of a legitimate guest concern is what turned a bad stay into an appalling one.

I love the hotel , great area and welcoming atmosphere .
Pros:

Guest Service /reception was friendly and helpful.
Rooms are a bit old but spacious and with a beautiful view. Beds are comfortable.

Cons:

I think the prices from Booking.com were a lot higher compared to the real prices the hotel offers, think it Booking.com was overpriced.
The hotel rooms are a bit old specially the bathrooms might need a little extra care . Besides that , it’s a great location and staff is always welcoming .

Super locatie!
Pros:

De ligging met uitzicht op de skyline van Vancouver en in een leuk nieuw gebied boven een foodmarket en met veel horeca erom heen. Kamer is ruim, niet gehorig en heeft een goede airco én klein balkon. Met de seabus in 15 min naar downtown.
