Pros:

Location was perfect. Was upgraded to larger suite which was great, had a view of the spa had to walk over a bit to see the ocean. Overall very happy with our stay.

Cons:

Light is needed by microwave area. Need to refill liquid soap and Kleenex-Had to ask for resupply.

Top notch customer service!!!!
Pros:

Our family trip was PERFECT thanks to the amazing staff!!! Absolutely the best customer service we've ever received. The room was clean and spacious with amazing views. Although the entire staff was incredible, we would like to give an extra shout-out to DJ who works the front desk. He was so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about everything local.

Wow. Love this spot!

Would stay here again
Pros:

Beautiful room overlooking the ocean! Enjoyed the sunset. Rode our bikes on the San Juan bike path; easily accessible 😊. Perfect location.

Authentically kind staff 10/10
Pros:

I absolutely loved staying here and would recommend to anyone coming! They set up Easter eggs for the toddlers traveling with us, the views were amazing, and everyone who worked with us was so authentic and kind. Thank you for a great stay!

Note: the train can be loud but did not bother us ☺️

Family fun
Pros:

Great family vacation spot! We really enjoyed our stay here, and the staff was so welcoming even when we checked late at night, and the hot tub is open until 10pm so that’s perfect.

Kid tip: The walls are a little thin so if traveling with children or easily woken adults, consider bringing some of those easy cheap sleeping earplugs.

Otherwise it was super clean, super no frills, and a great value for our stay. Thank you!!

Nice location and lovely personnel

Cons:

Very noisy room, the doors do not close properly, and the rooms are not soundproof: you can hear the cars driving by so I had to sleep with earplugs. Bed and pillows were old and worn, as was the fridge which made a lot of noise and the airconditioning. The whole infrastructure is due for an upgrade. The room did not get made once in my entire stay. Also, not possible to open the windows to ventilate which is very annoying.

We would definitely go back again.
Pros:

King Suite ocean front view had a nice private deck. A very comfortable bed.
Not as noisy as we had thought it was going to be by the highway at night.
Customer service on site was outstanding.
For an older hotel it was clean and everything worked. Highly recommend

The rooms we asked and paid for was 1 king bed room and a room with 2 standard beds. We got a double bed the size of a closet and 2 king beds instead of standard. The room smelled bad. Cracks in the floor in the bathroom and you couldn't shut the bathroom door without stepping one foot into the tub to shut the door. The rooms definitely didn't match the pictures and it's definitely not a 8.2 rating. Can't sleep due to wondering if someone was going to break into the room or not. Extremely displeased and if I could've left I would've but the family was tired been on a long drive to get here. I would like to get a full refund because what was presented was not what we got or paid for in advance. The iron is rusted.

Pretty views, but it was just OK

We like that it was across from the water and not too far from things in town to do

Cons:

Well, I’m gonna be realistic. It’s old. I think they’ve tried to update the insides as best they can but anytime there’s anything across from the water you’re gonna have issues so it’s an OK property but for the price I’d look elsewhere. We paid over $300 and it was an OK stay something was wrong with the elevator that would take us to the area we needed to go to, and so we had to walk upstairs and lug our luggage and I had a elderly mother with me so that was an issue, but not that big of a deal we made it work.
