Beachfront Inn and Suites at Dana Point

The atmosphere was amazing,it was very last minute and was VERY worth it breakfast was awesome and beach front couldn’t get any better definitely will be back!!

Ocean view and beach front room was great. Great deck off the room to sit, relax and watch the waves roll in.
For its location and proximity to the ocean rates are very competitive. You can easily spend much more either way you walk up or down the street.
Room is clean and I felt very comfortable with overall room condition.
With the exception of the ocean waves its a very quiet property, ( and can oceon waves really be to loud).
Check in process was perfect and extremely friendly. Advice on where to eat and general area was offered without even asking.
Big hot tub was great to just relax and enjoy.

Although we only stayed there for one night, it was a very pleasant one. Front desk was extremely helpful and the rooms were clean. Restaurants were close and traffic wasn't bad. Only thing is beach access was minimal, but not too bad. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

Hotel was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly nice, the room was perfect and so cheap! We had an amazing view of the ocean and the best time. Parking was so easy, and made our family vacation absolutely perfect!!

We are here to celebrate my daughter's 15th Birthday with a couple of her friends! We absolutely love it here, perfect for families, affordable. Shot out to DJ the front desk! He is amazing! We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The location was perfect—just steps away from the beach, with breathtaking ocean views from the room and throughout the property.

The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, creating a relaxing atmosphere for a perfect getaway. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the stunning sunsets each evening was unforgettable.

The amenities were excellent, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a family vacation, or simply a peaceful retreat by the ocean, I highly recommend this hotel. I can’t wait to return for another stay!

We stayed here for two nights this month and had a suite with a great ocean view (even though you have the street and the rail tracks between the hotel and the ocean). The view was the best thing about it. The hotel is strangely configured and the staff seemed to be very thin. A desk clerk was all we saw and there was no sign to put on the e about housekeeping or do not disturb. Our key cards kept not working and we had to go down to the front several times to have them re-activated. We were told that the magnetic strip should not be close our cell phone or to credit cards which will cause it to be deactivated. Crazy! Never heard of such a thing. Our TVs would not work and the guy sent up to help us didn't speak English. The landline phone was not working either so we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk.

The lights outside our room and the corridor were both out so it was very dark when we came in at night.

There is no mini-bar in yet they charged an "incidental" fee of $100?? Also, charged $15 a nite for parking which seems unusual when the room price is high.

The furniture is very dated and the hotel itself could use a major update and remodel.

The staff member DJ was absolutely amazing and the view was breath taking however the room had some issues. The shower had hot water in spurts so taking a shower was impossible to enjoy. The Televisions in both the living room and the bedroom did not work. The room was not very clean but hard to say being next to a beach. The suites with the views are not worth the $300 a night

If all you care about is proximity to the beach, then okay, sure, this place has that going for it. Other than that, it was loud, my room was a shoebox with a view of a hill of dirt, and it smelled like dog and piss… and I'm not sure the piss was from the dog that had been in here before!
