Not clean
Near to Swain
It did not appear that the shirts were changed. They were all wrinkled. Hard to say for sure.
The room was clean and had enough space for a family of 4. The beds however were AWFUL! The pillows were as flat as a pancake! And there was no drain for the tube to give my baby a bath.
Bed bugs
It ain't the Ritz, but you ain't paying for the Ritz either. It was a perfectly acceptable if very dated facility. My wife would have hated it, just because of the generally old condition, but traveling alone, it was fine. The bar across the street served a great burger.
No wheelchair access… the rooms stink mold stain on wall sheets dirty worst place I ever seen had to pay for another hotel do not go here very nasty
Nice everything clean
Bit in the pricy side for what and where it is
Property was decent, big, dry parking area. Floor was sticky in bathroom. Toilet and shower clogged. Zero hot water
Property looks run-down. Room was spacious enough but smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it was billed as "non-smoking." But it seemed maintained adequately by housekeeping. Check-in lady was nice. OK experience for a one night stay,
This property is average and in need of updating. The low price is indicative of the hotel's age. Personnel were friendly. Wish mgmt. would make improvements.
good location pleasant staff
The cost matches the quality which was cheap. IT's a good place for a quick night with a roof over your head. Staff was accomidating.
Bedsheets had wholes and room had mosquitoes
I would not recommend staying there
The appearance of the hotel was very rundown. Our rooms were very shabby looking and cleanliness was in question. One room had sticky floors (I don't think this was because they were dirty but some sort of residue left from the cleaner that was used.) The second room's floor had areas of stickiness and areas that were so slippery you had to be careful not to fall. Could see outside through the cracks in the wooden trim around the air conditioners. Bathrooms were fairly clean but so rundown they felt dirty. No bath mats were provided. Fitted bed sheet had no elastic left on the corners and would not stay on throughout the night. Breakfast consisted of a choice of cold cereal or bagels placed in individual ziploc bags or a couple of pieces of bread also placed in Ziploc bags (didn't dare to eat after seeing the employees.)
I arrived at ten at night and didn’t feel safe
Can you say Bates motel?? The room appears to be clean when you walk in but the chairs, carpeting etc were filthy. We sat on the 2 bath towels we put on the chairs. The bathroom light has 4 bulbs - only one was lit. The parking lot around the buildings was not lit - since someone was in the room were were assigned, I had to walk to the office - in another building- in the dark to get things straightened out- it is not a flat area. A sign in the office asks you to bring your dirty towels to the office to exchange for clean ones if you were staying longer! It was an experience and we high tailed it out of there after our one night.
Overall decent hotel but we all agreed we would never stay here again. It is in a convenient location, but I would suggest another hotel in the area over the Econo Lodge Hornell. We got there late at night and there were next to no cars in the parking lot, which was a bit off-putting. Felt like we were in a scary movie... where was everyone? We booked a non-smoking room on hotels.com but the front desk said their information was for a smoking room. Thankfully they were able to give us a non-smoking room. The room itself smelled like 1,000 gallons of cleaning fluid, but did not feel clean at all. The floors were super dirty, my socks were black after walking across the floor. The beds were okay, good enough for 1 night. The next morning when we went to check out there were people lingering around the main office. Some dude was talking to the front desk person and stared at us like we had 3 heads. We used the ice machine to refill our cooler and he was very rude to us when we returned the ice scoop. It seems like a lot of people live at this hotel and just linger around all day. Overall a very weird and uncomfortable vibe from this hotel. We survived 1 night but may not have survived 2.
