Location
Room had slight moldy smell and the air filters were dirty. The fan for hvac needs to be in auto instead of continuously on to prevent humid outside air from circulating when the a/c compressor isn't running. A Dehumidifier would be very beneficial in this circumstance. The free breakfast was surprisingly not bad.
Staff, breakfast, and cleaning crew all awesome
Get a pool.
Convenient off highway, near amenities (food and a pharmacy we needed while there). The hotel itself was extremely clean. Very quiet and comfortable bed and bedding. The hotel offered the best brewed coffee (24/7 in the lobby) I think we ever had in a hotel of the same quality. Large breakfast. I liked that there were 'to go' bags at breakfast so we could pack up a few items to eat when we were ready to have breakfast while on the road.
Charge for parking - $5 so why not add to the room price. I handed the receptionist a $5 bill and was told I had to charge it to my visa. Perhaps a fee in a major urban area but not off the highway in rural VA.
Location, Staff was awesome, Breakfast was excellent!!!!!!!
Nothing
Great location to the concert we were attending in Hopewell
Comfortable bed. Great breakfast included.
Parking fees
This is one the best atmospheres we have experienced at a hotel. Warm greeting, clean space, clean room, amazing breakfast all the way down to the manager interacting with guest and staff arriving like family during breakfast! Will definitely be back!
Comfortable, clean, great breakfast (the had fresh cinnamon rolls and the little pancake maker)

Clean and comfortable room
Big surprise when I had to pay 5$ per day to park my car. Unhappy. I
I also whould have enjoyed fresh towels each day. No room service at all and was not around during the day to ask.
Bright lobby and common spaces; appears to be fairly new or at least still in good condition
$5 for parking?! At this location…please
Excellent free breakfast. Nice staff.
Clean
They never went to the room to clean or put new towels pr take the trash out
Honestly nothing.
Rating: 5.8/10 — Disorganized, Outdated, and Shockingly Rude Staff
I would not return to this location. What was supposed to be a special birthday celebration was marred by technical glitches, a hot room, and some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed.
1. Booking Chaos
Despite confirming my reservation with both Booking.com and the physical hotel three days prior to arrival, the front desk couldn't find my reservation at check-in. The clerk claimed it was completely "deleted" from their system and told me to handle it. After a stressful 40 minute call to Booking.com, they finally sorted it out with the hotel, but this is a major administrative red flag.
2. Room Temperature
I checked in at 3:45PM to decorate the room for the birthday boy, cranking the AC down as low as it would go. When we returned over seven hours later at 11:30 PM, the room was hot—the AC never stayed on. When front desk staff came up, they claimed it was a "motion-detected AC" that shuts off if the room is empty. A warning about this would have been nice, especially since it completely ruined the "surprise" environment I had spent afternoon hours setting up.
3. "The Evil Biscuit Maker" at Breakfast
The breakfast experience was downright jaw-dropping, entirely thanks to an employee named Clara (or Clarna).
* First, I watched her rudely confront a guest who was making a waffle because of a few cereal crumbs, snapping, *“Did you really just leave your mess and not clean it up?! You expect me to clean up your mess?!”*
* When breakfast hours ended, she physically shooed me out of the area and slammed the door directly behind me.
* To top it off, she shut the opposite door right in the face of a gentleman who was politely trying to get a cup of juice for his young daughter.
