Pros:

Localização no centro da cidade velha.
Limpeza boa.
Boas comodidades.
Louça no local que permitiu tomar o pequeno almoço no apartamento.

Cons:

Ruído vindo da rua dos carros o que considerámos natural uma vez que estavamos no centro da cidade velha.
O sofá cama era naturalmente desconfortável e as suas almofadas podiam estar mais higienizadas

I wouldn't stay there again despite the location...

It was fine but made a little uncomfortable for the reasons stated above.
Pros:

Location good and everything was clean.

Cons:

There was no lift and we had to lug lots of luggage up three floors. There was a lot of noise from the road below, and also the smell from a restaurant below. The apartment was also boiling hot on arrival and quite complicated to adjust. Lastly the shower didn’t work the morning we left - just a trickle came out of the tap.

Pros:

Excellent location close to the Royal Mile and main part of Edinburgh. Apartment was small but cosy. There was a sofa bed in the living room and a double bed in the bedroom so it fit our family of 4.

Cons:

No lifts so be ready to carry luggage up stairs. Would have been good to get a photo of the main door prior to check in as it was easy to miss (bus stop in front of the tiny door and people often blocked the door). Right off a busy street so can be a bit noisy.

Apartamento acogedor con excelente ubicación!!!
Pros:

El apartamento amplio , limpio y decoración moderna.
La cocina muy bien y una excelente ubicación.
Salvo por la cantidad de escaleras para llegar y por el sofá -cama de resto muy bien .

Cons:

El Sofá-cama , éramos seis y tocó dormir a dos personas ahí .
Era súper incómodo es imposible dormir y descansar . Nos pasó factura después de dos noches con contracturas musculares.
Recomendaría cambiarlo .
Y las escaleras que nos tocó subir bastaba y con el equipaje .
No lo recomiendo con familias con niños pequeños , mayores o personas con movilidad reducida.

If you plan to be in the heart of the centre and dine out most of the time...
Pros:

For sure the location. It is in the core centre. Clean. Full of light. If the temperature is warm, there are fans. Communication with the owners is very responsive. The distance to Edinburgh airport is close to 30mins. By taxi, it is around £40. You can also walk 5 minutes to the station and take the bus - coming every ten minutes which costs £6 per person.

Cons:

The apartment is a little studio flat. If you have big luggage, think twice as there are lots of stairs - or else try your luck and ask for a ground floor apartment.

It is a one-bedroom, surely not to be offered for four persons. The sofa bed (which is not comfortable at all) is in the little kitchenette/dining/living.

Unfortunately, it is presumely assumed that when you stay there, you either heat something in the microwave or else cook something easy, or dine out. There is only a hob with two plates. No oven. The microwave is basic - no oven function. There is a small fridge with no freezer compartment. All of this limits your options if you choose a self-catering apartment, to not dine in restaurants.
