An older Hotel in a fantastic location, with delightful staff and a homey feel.
Pros:

The location was great. It was walking distance from Parliament and the Rideau Canal. Ottawa City Hall was a block away, along with Confederation Park. The staff were friendly and helpful- they get a 10 for that. The neighborhood was vibrant and there were nearby restaurants on Elgin Street - Al's Steakhouse stands out as one of the best. There was a dog park that we could walk our Shiba Inu to every evening. The rooms were spacious suites and would be well equipped for longer stays. Paid Parking is in the back or in the basement. The total is added to your bill.

Cons:

The only thing that wasn't great was that the infrastructure of the Hotel is aging. The second time we stayed there, our room was noisy - we were on the top floor and there was substantial noise from motors or AC - possibly on the rooftop.

freundliches Personal, Gepäck konnte ohne Probleme schon vor dem check-in im Hotel deponiert werden, gute Lage

Cons:

Aussenfassade und Balkon sind sehr alt und dementsprechend nicht so einladend

Pros:

Le personnel était à l’écoute. La géographie de l hôtel par rapport à ce qu il y a à visiter est très intéressante. Le granola sur la carte du petit déjeuner était très bon.

Cons:

Un bruit désagréable en fond dans la première chambre. L hôtel m a proposé une seconde chambre sans supplément..sur le moment ok mais la soufflerie de la climatisation s est déclenchée en soirée et n était pas discrète non plus. De plus, l eau de la douche au maximum chaude était à peine à température corporelle, sans beaucoup de pression et avec un pommeau de douche défectueux….
