Shortly before arriving, I received a phone call from the hotel. Telling me that I lost my reservation and that they were overbooked. I told him that was impossible since I booked several weeks ago. The staff looked into the situation and said that yes, I could stay somewhat else would have to lose their room.!!!
Lots of hooks in the rooms. Efficiently designed
Breakfast was fine but not as good as Hyatt
Very little. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The best part of our stay here was leaving.
No blackout shade on the window! It had been removed so we essentially had no night time privacy. Not only that but, as a result of no shade, the glaring lights in the parking lot illuminated our room so much that my wife had to build a pillow barrier in an attempt to keep the light out of her face while trying to sleep! How could they rent a room to us in this condition? When we told the front desk woman about this, she merely said "oh yeah, they are redoing the shades in some rooms." Then why in the hell did you put us in this room????!!!! We couldn't change rooms because then there would have been just one bed and my wife was sick. The HVAC system in the room is LOUD. We both had a terrible nights sleep. This is probably the worst accommodations we have had in many years. Not only we will never patronize a Hilton Tru hotel again, I am going to let everyone I know what an awful experience this was and perhaps write a few reviews online to spread the word of our "wonderful" experience there. Hilton should be ashamed.
Close to Cleveland clinic
Tv didn’t work, bathroom drain was slow,
i did not have breakfast
I have to give a huge shout out to the Lady who worked the 3-11 shift. The power was out and she was all alone and handled it wonderfully. She got everyone in rooms and when power came back on called rooms and double checked on quest. She was a rock star
Clean, lots of seating in the lobby and options for breakfast.
There were only lamps to light up the room, so it could get a bit dark. The first room we were given also hadn’t been cleaned yet, but they gave us a new room quickly!
I really liked the room size and storage space. The free parking is a plus and the bed is pretty comfy. They added more to there tv so if you have a little one its helpful then from what they had before. Free breakfast, friendly staff, and clean facilities.
I just wish there was a coffee maker in the room and it would be perfect but doesn't stop me from ever staying.
Good location with plenty of parking. Room was fairly large and clean.
The breakfast was very poorly stocked. We got to breakfast at ~7:20 am in the middle of the breakfast window. They were out of scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, pancakes, and oatmeal. The juice machine did not work. There was no butter or cream cheese. The stocked options were basically cereal, yogurt, and toast and bagels with peanut butter or jelly.
Our room also had issues. About half of the lights did not work. We also could not raise or lower the blackout curtain because the control chain was off. We were only there one night, so we didn't try to get any of it fixed, but it's hard to imagine the cleaners didn't notice any of it.
The breakfast was good.
The hotel charged our card before we checked in even though we chose pay at the property. The room was not clean and there was no hot water the night of check in or the next morning. We had to wash off with cold water and then wait until the next evening to shower. The hotel staff was not sincerely apologetic for this and just informed us it was fixed and would come back soon. Very frustrating when you are going to a hospital with a sick loved one.
Good
The location is great and the staff was friendly.
There was damage to the room upon our arrival. The staff didn’t seem to be interested in in it. The facilities were not very clean in the lobby and the room was not super clean.
Nice place overall for everything included.
Easy and sho driving distance to the city.
Pillows are not great at all.
