This is not a hotel. This is a scam/dorm
Pros:

This is a dorm, not a hotel. Show up at 2:45 and you have to wait 15 min before you can check in. Staff drinks on the job.

Pros:

Lasted all of 5 minutes in the room after check in before leaving to stay elsewhere. The room looked nothing like the photos and was dirty.

There was black hair in the bed and on both pillows and mould in the shower.

When we brought this to the attention of the staff we were simply brushed off with no mention or offer of a refund.

Will be telling friends to do themselves a favour and stay elsewhere

Pros:

We stayed for 3 nights.

PROS:
- Very cheap at $60/night in London
- Walking distance to the Jubilee line (4 minute walk)
- Nice pub across the street for food/drinks
- Dorm Style rooms, with a small kitchen with a refrigerator and stovetop, a half-bath room (toilet and sink), and shower room (standing shower, and sink), and 2 bedrooms with plenty of storage and individual full sized beds.

CONS
- No AC and we were dying in those rooms from the heat of the day.
- Windows don't fully open, so we couldn't air them out
- Beds were threadbare, we could feel the springs of the mattress.
- Nothing much to do in the area, we had to walk a ways, taxi or take the tube every single time we went out
- Checking in took forever since there was a small staff, and our rooms weren't clean for check in till almost 5pm.

If they were to add air conditioner, or at least AC towers or fans, and upgrade the mattress, this hotel would improve so much that the rest of the issues would be fine. At this point though, i would suggest staying somewhere else.

If it's your first time in London and you want to do the tourist spots, I would suggest staying in Westminster/Pimlico areas, as nearby you'll find the Abbey, the Palace, Parliament, Big Ben, and plenty of tube lines to take you everywhere else you'd like to go. They are more expensive areas for sure, but you'll save time and money staying near those areas instead of paying for taxis or walking miles and miles to get anywhere.

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

This hotel was well located for the london eye and for walking into the city over numerous bridges. It was clean and functional but very basic. The apartment had 2 double beds in separate rooms which allowed for a decent nights sleep despire there being a fair bit of noise coming from the streets. The only complaint was the diections from waterloo station to the hotel which were very confusing.

Excellent stay, cheap, clean, well located
Pros:

Overall it was excellent stay for very cheap price. Good location. Room was better than expected - roomy, clean, a small kitchenette. Easy check in & check out. Check out was a bit early at 10am - 11 or 12 would be better! No complaints & would recommend.

Pros:

The hotel location was good. What we don't like is they charge a lot for storing luggage. We arrived early when the room was not available. That was fine, but when we asked them to store our luggage we were told we had to pay. We got charged about $17 for the storing the luggage for a few hours! We travel a lot and this was the first time we got charged for storing the luggage at the hotel. Plus, we prepaid on Expedia but got charged additional $12.25 without any explanation or receipt.

Smelly and dirty
Pros:

A student accommodation trying to be a hotel with fake reviews. It’s smelly and dirty, I would never stay here again.

Pros:

I took a chance in this hotel last minute since it was advertised as 50% off the normal price & there wasn’t any reviews available on Orbitz. Bad mistake as this isn’t a real hotel. The building is a student dorm that is being rented out (similar to AirBnb) by a 3rd party company while students are out of school for the summer. Don’t expect hotel quality service, the only thing they provide is toilet paper, towels, a trash can, and shampoo/conditioner; and a fridge/stovetop built in if you need it. 1 of our rooms didn’t even have a trash can & we had to ask for a trash bag & the front desk receptionist was confused as to what to do (these are inexperienced student employees, not their fault). The whole 8 days we were there they did not clean our room once. There weren’t any mentions of an optional request if we wanted to request it. Also pay careful attention to their check in/out time. Check in is at 3pm, while checkout is at 10am. We found this out the hard way when we arrived at 11am with ALL of our luggages. They would not “accommodate” & let us check in early, on top of that they charge you to leave your luggages with them. Additionally there is no lobby/ waiting room. So you’ll have to plan your arrival time to match their checking in time. I think they do this on purpose in order to charge you the luggage fees to leave your luggages with them. Read carefully before you book this stay in London & make sure it matches your traveling schedule. Don’t expect quality service

Pros:

Location was superb. Rooms were very clean. Staff friendly and willing to help and offer assistance for getting around the campus.
Just a couple of negatives ...... my particular room was incredibly hot and had a very noisy air con which disturbed sleep.
There were no tea making facilities, cups or glasses are really needed when you’re traveling. Other nearby student accommodation offer these.
At the weekend, local coffee shops are closed and going out for breakfast further afield was necessary. Staff were not clear about where they could direct us.
Given the nightly price, I think HashTag should look at the above and provide a little more basic comfort as their competitors do.
Paying to store backpacks and bags incurred an unwarranted charge of £5 each.

Pros:

The hotel is in a traditional French neighborhood, very convenient and safe I think. The hotel is small, but comfortable.

Pros:

LIKES: What a location, so quiet yet central.
Affordable option (we paid £43 per person per night for 4 people in 2 bed apartment)
The roof terrace - incredible doing our own yoga on the roof looking over London!
Friendly staff welcome when checking in.

DISLIKES: the mattress!!! Probably the worst I have ever slept on anywhere in the world sadly :( no springs or cushioning / support.
The cleanliness of the shower wasn’t great.
The gym is soooooo hot!!! Dangerously so almost, but good for a basic workout as we used it.

Great location
Pros:

The position was great for the south banks various options. We walked from there most days. Friendly place and plenty of space with a kitchenette which was not advertised. So we got a fridge and a microwave but not a plate or cutlery. Luckily as it was not advertised we brought our own kettle , tea and cups. We were on the first floor and needed windows open which was noisy from air conditioning units I guess? Bedding all clean but the mattress had seen better days and I could feel the springs.Pub right opposite which was much used.

Pros:

The accommodation was not at all as advertised and my only 3 hour stay was deeply uncomfortable. Every surface was unclean or still wet, the shower reached genuinely unsafe pressures before it reached decent temperature and doors and blinds were inoperable or dangerously rigged to slam themselves shut. The shower drain looked as though it had never been cleaned and the lived-in filth all over was inexcusably noticeable.
As I checked out before a single night stayed, I can't say much for the staff or amenities, but the company refused to refund me.
Please don't be fooled by the photos. This is a university dorm posing as a hotel. You'd do much better at the comparably priced Hilton Express only a few blocks away. I regret a very rushed decision to stay here.

Make sure you know these things
Pros:

The stay was okay overall. The building is overall nice and included a gym, laundry (which was annoying to use) and a beautiful rooftop terrace. However, there was no AC and it got very hot in the apartment even with the windows open. Bugs kept coming into the room and there was always this slightly stinky smell throughout. One night this persisted, but no one at reception could help so we broke the fuse until it stopped. The reception is pretty bad. You always have to wait and they are not very helpful. We asked the person on duty at night for toilet paper, but they didn’t know where it was, so we had to wait til late the next day. Also, the rooms were not very clean, springy beds and everything was sticky. The rooms were also very small, and included a kitchenette area. Although small, it’s fine for its use if you’re not staying and hanging in the apartment. Overall, not the best experience, but did the job because we weren’t there during the day.

Excellent
Pros:

Went to London for a concert at Somerset house (amazing!) going hashtag on hotels.com, brilliant place to stay, quick walk from Waterloo station, rooms were spotless, comfortable, with the added bonus of a kitchen area so no need to eat out, lots of places to eat nearby though supermarkets too, would rate my experience 10/10! Staff really friendly and helpful...#bookhashtag!
