Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr geeignet.
Pros:

Die Lage des Gästehauses ist sehr zentral gelegen in einer der schönsten Straßen Freiburgs mit kurzen Wegen ins Zentrum. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und bot einen tollen Ausblick. Ich hatte kein Frühstück gebucht.

Cons:

Eine Ablage im Bad wäre sinnvoll gewesen, die Badtüre konnte nicht arretiert werden, man musste etwas Schweres davor stellen, um diese offen zu halten, wenn man z.B. zum Einräumen rein und raus musste.
Durch angrenzende Lokale ein hoher Geräuschpegel bis weit nach Mitternacht.

Gerne wieder!
Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein, hat aber alles was man sich wünscht. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die Schlossberggarage ist ein paar Schritte entfernt und als Hotelgast erhält man eine Preisreduktion fürs parken. Das Münster und somit die Altstadt sind auch nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Super Lage.

Cons:

Die Matratzen waren ziemlich weich. Für die zwei Nächte, die wir da waren, war es für uns aber kein Problem.

L’accueil top - parking à vélo à l’arrière du bâtiment

Cons:

Pas de climatisation - une douchette pour la douche - l’ascenseur s’arrête au 2ème et 15 marches d’escalier pour la chambre au 3eme

Pros:

Sauberes Zimmer - tolle Lage.

Cons:

Im Sommer leider sehr warm, da keine Klimaanlage. Durch die Lage in der Altstadt kommt durch die kleinen Fenster kaum frische Luft in die Zimmer. Bei offenem Fenster leider viel zu laut zum Schlafen.

Nos encantó la ubicación, inmejorable, en una calle preciosa, para nosotros la zona más bonita de la ciudad. La habitación muy cómoda, limpia y acogedora. El desayuno magnífico y todo el personal amabilísimo. Un detalle que nos encantó fue m que tenían libros para niños tanto en el rellano de la habitación como en el comedor y mi hija se entretuvo mucho

Frühstück von guter Qualität - jederzeit guten Kaffe/Tee/ frisches Wasser verfügbar

Sehr gute, preiswerte Unterkunft in Freiburger Innenstadt
Pros:

Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein, doch man fürchtet, es wird wohl zu laut in der Altstadt an heissen Sommernächten. Das war nicht so: die Gasse wurde gegen 23 Uhr immer sehr ruhig. Mit offenen Fenstern konnte ich gut schlafen. Der im Zimmer stehenden Ventilator funktionierte ruhig und gut. Für den Preis ist das Hotel wohl kaum zu übertreffen.

Zentrale Lage, freundliches und hilfreiches Personal, visuell ansprechende Einrichtung.

Cons:

Wir haben leider sehr schlecht geschlafen, hatten zuvor zwar über den Lärmpegel gelesen, dies jedoch unterschätzt. Wegen der Hitze konnte man nur mit offenem Fenster schlafen, von der Straße kam viel Lärm bis 1 auhr. Gegen 6 Uhr dann Straßenreinugung, kurz darauf 3 Stunden Geklapper aus dem Frühstückssaal...
Insgesamt fanden wir das Zimmer auch nicht allzu gemütlich. Die Matratzen sind gut aber das Doppelbett hatte einen Spalt und Holz dazwischen, als Paar nicht sehr geeignet...auch gab es nur eine Art Kissen, welches extrem flach war.

Bei bis zu 35 Grad Aussentemperatur war es im Zimmer sehr heiß. Offene Fenster wären eine Abhilfe bei Nacht aber Kirche

Pros:

Die Lage ist einmalig und das nahegelegene Parkhaus bequem, um sein Auto sicher zu parken und das Gepäck schnell in das Hotel zu bringen. An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr herzlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit begrüßt.

Cons:

Beim sonst leckeren und reichhaltigem Frühstück haben wir Rührei mit Speck vermisst. Es könnte zwischendurch der Tisch abgeräumt werden.

Charming old hotel in convenient location
Pros:

Location worked well for us. We were traveling by train and it was about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. It is in an old building and very charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Some people might not like hearing the church bells. The church is close, the bells are loud, and they start ringing at 7:45 am. I am up early, so it wasn’t a problem for me. It just added to the charm. My husband is not an early riser and he was not so charmed by them.
