Ideal location and good, friendly staff, but needs an internal makeover.
Cons:

The Grove needs a new coat of paint within the accommodation area. Our room, although clean, had patchy and damaged paintwork and curtains with holes in!

Dog holiday
Pros:

Super dog friendly, easy option for a doggy holiday - great location for recharging my EV.

Pros:

Plenty of parking. Big room and bathroom. View over the garden. Friendly staff. Bar and food available at reasonable prices. Close to main street shops and bars. Cathedral is a bit of a walk.

Cons:

No lift so had to carry bags upstairs.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande des sehr kleinen Ortes, in Fußgängerentfernung zur Kathedrale und zum Bischofspalast, die die Touristenattraktion des Ortes bilden. Das Parken ist nach vorheriger Reservierung kostenlos. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer für ein kleines Gespräch zu haben.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist ein sehr alter Bau. In den Zimmern muffelt es. Über den Teppichboden sind schon Generationen von Menschen gelaufen, ich mochte meine Schuhe dort gar nicht ausziehen. Der Raum war klein, die Betten zu weich und unbequem, wir haben dort nicht gut geschlafen und uns auch insgesamt nicht wohlgefühlt. Der Preis für das Gebotene ist zu hoch.
Zum Frühstück gab es nur eine sehr kleine Anzahl von vorgefertigten Menüs, der Kaffee war Instant Kaffee. Wenn man Kaffee aus der Maschine wollte, musste man pro Tasse zuzahlen.
Insgesamt war das auf unserer ganzen Tour durch Wales das schlechteste Hotel.

A warm feeling, because of the warm welcome
Pros:

Lovely, lovely staff, very welcoming. Rookery in garden quite a thing. Decent, straightforward but great value food. And the location, at the heart of St David's.

Room a little musty smelling.
