場所がよかったのと、スタッフの方がとても親切でした
Dinner was fantastic! Room was lovely, bed was a little high but I'm short. 😊
The room was comfortable and my husband enjoyed his buffet breakfast. Location was close to Union Station.
We were extremely annoyed that the receptionist presented us with a letter stating that an extra $25.00 daily amenity fee, plus tax, would be charged to “enhance our experience” to make our stay “exceptional.” We were only there from late afternoon until 9.30am and didn’t use any facility except the room. I shall be writing a review on other sites advising Australians about the extra cost in an already expensive hotel.
Central and great facilities, very comfortable bed
There was nothing I didn’t like
Our trip to Toronto was truly unforgettable, and our stay at the InterContinental made it even more special!
I booked our stay very last minute, but from the moment we arrived, everything was superb. We were so grateful that they were able to accommodate us with an early check-in, especially after a long and tiring day.
The level of service throughout our stay was exceptional. Everyone we encountered, from the front desk to the bell desk and even the security guard, was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond. I unfortunately didn’t get everyone’s names, but I want to recognize Evangeline, Daniel, and Saboo for their wonderful service.
And a huge shout-out to DAVID at the front desk! He was absolutely the best. He was so welcoming, friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. His amazing service really stood out and made such a great impression on us.
Thank you to the entire InterContinental team for making our Toronto trip even more memorable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! ❤️
The staff and amenities are all nice.
I really liked that it was so close to union station and ripleys aquarium.
There was nothing about this property that I did not like.
Great location and nice property but inept front desk staff detracted from being an excellent stay.
Highlights:
- Wonderful location walking distance to a lot especially to Rogers Centre
- Nice view of the CN tower
- Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable
- Nice atrium breakfast
- Had an indoor pool and spa
- Gave us a small water bottle each day
Lowlights:
- Staff (customer facing): no one knew what was going on and everyone gave different information. Horrible customer service that is unacceptable at a hotel of this caliber and for a lack of care for patrons even as a loyal diamond customer.
Examples
-- On check in for 1 of our 2 rooms, they didn't have the room available we had booked. This is after we had called the night before to speak to customer service to add on a name of a guest so that room should have been properly accounted for.
-- They said our other room had lounge access but not that first one. Both on that floor and booked by the same person. Upon going to the lounge, we were denied access for either one.
-- When requesting a late check out at the front desk the night before, a friendly front desk staff said as Diamond we could stay til 4pm and no problem. Upon getting out key to get back to our room later that next day, they said we couldn't do that and even 3pm shouldn't have been provided.
-- Found an envelope in our room from the hotel with someone else's full name on it and welcome letter which has to be a privacy issue as well as inability to prepare properly. Embarrassing
My wife and I stayed at the InterContinental Toronto on August 23 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and David at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable.
From the moment we arrived, David was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. We mentioned we were going to see Mamma Mia! and he was knowledgeable about ABBA, which made our conversation especially fun. He arranged an advanced check-in for us and, as a wonderful surprise, had complimentary sparkling wine and desserts sent to our room.
We had a fantastic evening seeing Mamma Mia! and having dinner at the CN Tower, but David’s thoughtfulness added an extra special touch to our anniversary celebration.
It’s people like David who make a hotel stay go from simply enjoyable to exceptional. His genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and personal touch were outstanding. The InterContinental is very fortunate to have someone like him representing the hotel.
Thank you, David, for helping make our 30th anniversary so special. We won’t forget your kindness! ❤️🥂
L'hôtel facture des frais "daily amenity" de 28€ alors que tout est payé via booking. Ils disent que ce n'est pas optionnel et on se sent obligé de les payer. Booking me confirme que ce n'est pas normal.
Location
Bed was very uncomfortable
Exzellente Lage, gute Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, Pool vorhanden
David at front desk was great, and the location cannot be beat for a visit to Toronto.
