Watch out for the extra charges

I liked that I could sleep comfortably and the front receptionist was very nice

Cons:

I did not like that I paid 600 dollars plus for a room that would not accommodate a extra cot or blanket without a charge of 30 dollars..I didn't like that there was no bath tub only a shower with no pressure..no fridge to use or your paying for it and the door adjoining the room kept rattling oh and the best getting woken up at 9 by someone to check to make sure we didn't eat the 6 dollar chocolate bars or drink the 6 dollar pop never again will I ever use this hotel I'll go down the street seriously no comp for a breakfast unless they charge you 60 and they pass you a note that says 25.00 plus tax extra for laundry and wifi never ever again I would rather sleep outside

- Excellent location in the heart of downtown Toronto.
- Convenient access to major attractions and public transportation.

Cons:

- The hotel and rooms are showing their age and no longer meet the standard we expect from an InterContinental property.
- Poor soundproofing, especially in rooms with connecting doors, making it easy to hear noise from neighbouring rooms.
- Check-in at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m. leave guests with relatively little time to enjoy the room.
- Limited flexibility regarding late check-out and, in our opinion, a lack of transparent communication.
- The front desk staff came across as rather distant and not particularly guest-oriented. We felt that policies and upselling were given greater priority than genuine hospitality.
