Cypress Inn

It was in terrible condition. The rooms were wide open. Dirty. We didn't end up staying.

Pictures looked better than actual condition.

Bathroom was not clean and there was a dead roach

It was a last minute reservation. I missed my flight and thought this hotel was close by. Unfortunately, it wasn't and we were placed in a smoking room. There was very little paper toilet paper in the restroom. The bathroom looked half clean and there was no functional light at the sink which was located outside the restroom. Everything about the room and stay was off.

The place doesnt look bad from the road, but that quickly changed. We got there the main lobby was locked had to buzz an office and someone from there room came and checked us in, at 3 in the afternoon. Once we got in the room noticed there was only 1 plug available and that was behind the fridge. The sheets had what look like burn stains on them, and carpet had various stains. We will not be staying here again.

My husband and I travel often due to his occupation in the construction field, and we are constantly searching for a hotel that is willing to accommodate us for weekly or monthly rates. We don’t always find this type of service, for a reasonable price with out having to sacrifice cleanliness or service. However, after just two nights at the Cypress Inn, we discovered the best manager/owner, great customer service, the cleanest & largest room, excellent housekeeping, a laundry area, a pool, and all at a fair and exceptional value. Needless to say, we booked for a weekly rate, and as long as we are in town, this will be our hotel of choice. Also, the hotel is located with in minutes of varies restaurants, shopping centers, and banking facilities. I do not have Any negative comments.

The WiFi was spotty and my room was not cleaned once. Just fresh towels every morning. I had a lizard jump out of one of the towels. The furniture was chipped and the overall room was dumpy.

Very good experience overall, no frills just good safe, clean place to spend a night or two!

It’s actually 20 min away from New Orleans if you need something cheap this is the one to book

Molded building everything is dirty and broken horrrrrrrrriblleee people will end up getting sick

If you expect a clean room this this hotel is not a place to stay has roaches saw 3 before i even opened the door

The best thing would be the working AC. Everything else was goof for its price.
