Off the beaten path getaway.
Pros:

I liked the location of the property being right on the beach and right "in town" where food options were plentiful. The event coordinator guy- Sender- was very nice and helpful.

Cons:

The bathrooms were very grimy. The pool didn't look clean enough to enjoy. The beach is too hot to enjoy during the day due to the black sand.

Pros:

Emplacement, directement sur la plage.
Nous avons vu des raies sautées et des baleines de loin.
Océan dont les vagues sont à intensité variable très agréable. Grande marche au bord de l'océan.
Piscine bien entretenue et température agréable.
Nourriture excellente, Prix abordables.
Beau coucher de soleil.
Eau et café gratuit.

Cons:

Rien, pas d'eau chaude mais ça ne nous a pas causé de problème. Nous y avons séjourné 9 nuits.

Confort et prix modeste pour terminer mes vacances.
Pros:

Belle localisation, directement sur la plage et à proximité de la petite ville. La possibilité de manger en regardant les vagues m’a fait plaisir.

Cons:

Les portes des chambres qui ont toujours tendance à s’ouvrir quand elles ne sont pas barrés.

Relaxte Tage direkt am Strand
Pros:

Lage direkt am Strand, Zimmer hübsch, kein Luxus aber alles was man braucht. Guter Ventilator, Moskitonetz, private Dusche im Zimmer Toilette getrennt ebenfalls. Ein paar Kleiderhaken wären nicht schlecht.
Das Essen im Lokal ist sehr lecker. Praktisch, dass alles zum Schluss gezahlt werden kann.
Der Strand war sauber, außer am Sonntag Abend, er wurde aber am Montag wieder gereinigt.

Cons:

Ab Samstag Nachmittag haben mich die Buggys genervt. Laut und es roch nach Benzin, schlimmer als auf der Autobahn. Aber den Wochenendbesuchern macht es Spass und ab Sonntag Nachmittag wird es wieder ruhiger und am Montag ist es wieder ein gemütlicher Ort.

La gentillesse des dames au comptoir

À notre arrivée, on découvre qu'il n'y a pas de toit dans la chambre et celle-ci donne sur un couloir passant, la dame nous informe qu'il y aura de la musique jusqu'à 2h du matin, les lits étaient sales, les moustiquaires trouées alors qu'il y avait beaucoup de moustiques, les toilettes étaient partagées avec le restaurant mais surtout le discours du patron envers les touristes européens, visiblement nous ne sommes pas les bienvenus ! Nous avons quitté le lieu.

Our stay was peaceful, restful, and wonderful!
Pros:

Everything!! The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and very clean. I loved all the religious pieces and crosses. The breakfast was amazing! The rooftop setting was awesome with the fire!!

Would definitely book here again if coming to Monterrico.
Pros:

Loved having the pool as the ocean was pretty intense to swim in. It was so cool to be able to eat right on the beach from the hotel and was thankful the prices at the restaurant were very reasonable. The Food was Delicious! Was also so fun to have the pool table and other things to do while we stayed there. The rooms were also decorated so cute as well as the overall interior design of the hotel. Was also grateful for the clean water to drink and complimentary coffee!!

Cons:

There was a strong sewer smell coming up from the drain in our shower. That was the only thing that was not great.
