Great location
Pros:

Pros:

Beautiful location and grounds, nicely appointed room. Surprisingly, even though our room was right over the main entrance to hotel, we didnt hear any of the noise/weren't awakened (and we're light sleepers.

Cons:

Bed was not very comfortable.

Pros:

Stayed here for New Year’s Eve as it’s close to Burton Chace Park for the fireworks display and light festival. The hotel was good, the staff were all friendly, and the room was simple but clean and a good size. It’s also in a decent location for driving to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. There are a few restaurants within walking distance nearby in Waterside.

Cons:

The only downside was the $50 a night valet parking, which felt a bit unnecessary to me. I’m from the UK, so maybe I’m just not used to it, but the car was parked less than 25 metres away and visible from the hotel, so having someone collect it and bring it back felt absolutely pointless.
