High hopes, sadly not realised and we’re unlikely to return.
Pros:

Location was excellent, centre of Burley opposite the cycle hire shop.

Cons:

The room was tiny, high up in the eaves with sloping ceilings so my 6’2 husband couldn’t move without bumping his head. The bathroom sink was an absolutely tiny corner unit, almost inaccessible. As usual with Booking.com bookings, we felt that we’d been given the worst room as we didn’t book direct.

A retro stay but in a very good way. Quaint and full of charm.

Excellent séjour au Burley Inn
Pros:

L'ambiance de cet établissement est super ! Nous y avons passé trois nuits et dîné une fois. Le repas était très bon. La situation géographique est parfaite pour parcourir la New Forest. Nous avions loué deux chambres un peu petites mais très confortables. Les salles de bain étaient toutes neuves, équipées de douches fermées.

Cons:

Les lits sont très mous ! Les petits-déjeuners ne sont servis qu'à partir de 8H30, ce qui est un peu tard lorsque l'on souhaite optimiser sa journée !

For our purposes it was adequate
Pros:

breakfast and dinner very good.
Rooms adequate but in view of the very hot weather we were experiencing
they were not comfortable for sleeping.
Perhaps fans could be made available at such times.

Very pleased and will definitely return.
Pros:

The Burley Inn is in an excellent location and we enjoyed our stay and looking round the village. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and the prices very reasonable.

Cons:

My wife and I had a cooked breakfast each but there were no baked beans included or offered. A traditional cooked breakfast should come with baked beans.
