Nothing it was d.irty rundown and the entry after the bar was closed was closed was via a fire escape which was quite hazardous and less mobile people could never have done ot
As above we are from Port Talbot and this hotel was always a lovely place such a shame to see it so rundown
Friendly staff. Food ok
Very basic. Room was dusty and old. Bathroom poor, mouldy and dirty shower curtain, toilet seat didnt fit on toilet, leak from rusty pipe, causing a puddle in the bathroom.
We had a lovely stay here and couldn’t fault the service we received from all of the staff.
The housekeeping team in particular went above and beyond to help us. We were attending a wedding that day and they kindly did everything they could to make sure we were able to get into our room early so we could get ready. It made such a difference and we really appreciated how accommodating they were.
Every member of staff we met was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, and they were particularly accommodating towards us as a family with a young child. We were offered help with our pushchair and suitcase, and everyone genuinely seemed happy to assist whenever we needed anything.
Our room was lovely and clean, with plenty of towels and extra pillows available if needed. The housekeeping staff even took the time to show us where the fire exits were in case we returned late, which was such a thoughtful and reassuring touch.
Parking was also really easy and convenient, which made arriving and leaving with a young child much less stressful.
Overall, what really stood out was the exceptional friendliness and kindness of the staff. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and we felt very well looked after throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to other families.
Warm welcome by landlord who checked us in and showed us to our room. Facilities fine for an overnight stay.
Couldn't get TV to work. Reported it to landlord who came up to try and sort it out but unsuccessful.

The TV in the bedroom ,Shawer in bedroom ,Cutlery in bedroom .. Breakfast area ,cob web and dirt round skating board.
Nothing in particular . In fact was a pub with rooms above . Nothing like in the pictures the rooms though
The room given was a basic single room quite rudimentary for the money paid also you had to go though the pub to get in and out and after a certain hour you had to use the fire escape to get in and out of the room . Pretty sure not health and safety way of having guest exiting and entering accommodation apart from the emergency procedures .

Landings omit an unpleasant odour. Rooms need a revamp. I ordered a sirloin steak and it was awful.
The staffs were very kind and welcoming. They allocated a room as per our request which we are grateful for.
There was some dust under the beds but overall the room was clean.

Had to order different things as they didn't have want i wanted twice there portions were small microwaved dishes there was flies everywhere the rooms were plain and boring need redecorating abit of colour weird smell
