Pros:

Great value for money, lovely clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and comfortable beds, we were worried there would be noise from the pub itself but we heard nothing.

Pros:

Location and facilities were perfect for our very brief stay. Room was clean with all the essentials, beds comfortable with extra pillows. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

Room was very hot with no way of controlling the level.

Cool place to stay - Cozy and only a few mins from the beach
Pros:

Stayed in early November - We arrived late in the day, but checkin was a breeze, and the bar was still serving. Our host was helpful and really welcoming, there was plenty of parking available, and the rooms were comfy and warm.
We'd arrived too late to catch the kitchen, but as there are a number of eateries nearby, we took a quick drive through town, and ended up at Aberavon beach for dinner at Remo's.
We had a super relaxing night (it was SO very peaceful) and headed off early the next day to continue our travels.

Lovely hotel and restaurant, as long as you dont stay overnight!
Pros:

The staff, excellent throughout. Evening meal was good. Good hot water…when it eventually got to the bathroom, it took an age to get to my bathroom, the other room had no issues. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The state of the rooms, flash back to the early eighties….not what you’d expect nowadays. The rooms need a desperate update, stains on all carpets throughout the upstairs, holes in the walls, noisy AC or Freezer kept me awake most of the night. Breakfast was good, but the plate was so cold, the breakfast soon lost it’s heat, shame as it was lovely, but for this.

A great place to stay with comfortable rooms and decent 🍲
Pros:

Convenient for motorway. It’s a pub with rooms so I could enjoy a pint at the send of the day. Nice warm room

Cons:

The rooms are not perfect but more than adequate. ie no bedside lamp, shortage of sockets in room. But this is not a complaint as the value for money means not having everything perfect.
